Learning to Love
Hey, hey, hey. How is everyone? Right chapter three is up, boy does it feel good to get back to this story, I was in and out of hospital for a while so didn’t have time for the story, but here I am.
Chapter 3 – Brotherly Love, Motherly Hatred
Aiden: I think we should go home now Spencer, my legs are fallen asleep
I’m sure they are, we’ve been here for an hour and I haven’t moved from my spot. Ah well he’ll get over it.
Spencer: Yeah, you’re right, let’s go.
Aiden: What are we going to tell mum.
Oh did I forget to mention Aiden is my brother, well not by blood. His parents died in a car crash when he was six and my mother took him in. It’s nice to have him around always keeping me out of harm’s way
Spencer: About what
Aiden: Spencer don’t do that you know abo….
Spencer: Yeah I know, I guess I have to come out sometime
Aiden puts his hand on my shoulder
Aiden: You know I’ll be there when you tell her.
Spencer: Well I would like to think so,
Aiden: Why do you always have to joke about things, you can’t be serious for one minute can you
Spencer: Ok, fine you want me to be serious, I just got my fucking heart ripped out because I had to be an idiot and tell my best friend that I have feelings for her, and what do I get, nothing just like always, I don’t get what I want. Do you know what it’s like to tell your best friend how you really feel about them, no, well I’ll tell you, it fucking hurts Aiden, knowing that my heart beats for her and only her, knowing that her heart does not even have a single beat for me, I have just fucked up the greatest friendship I ever had with someone, all because this stupid heart of mine. And I hate that, it hurts Aiden ok, is that serious enough for you
After my outburst, I lose all feeling in my legs and collapse on the ground. The only thing I can think about right now is I really wish I was losing feeling in my heart. Aiden sits down beside me and I lay me head on his shoulder. I guess it’s time to cry again.
