Chapter 7

Ashley pulled up to the carlin house hold and got out of the car. She was getting more and more nervous by the minute. She walked up to the door and knocked.

Inside the house Spencer was sitting on the couch waiting for Ashley to get their.

Knock, Knock, knock

Spencer: I got it (opens the door) Ashley come in

Ashley: hey spencer

Arthur: honey who was at the door

Spencer: dad this is Ashley, Ashley this is my dad Arthur carlin

Ashley: (shaking arthur’s hand) its nice to meet u Mr. Carlin

Arthur: oh call me Arthur Mr sounds so old

Ashley: ok Arthur nice to meet you

Spencer: well we better get going before (before she could get another word out paula came through the front door)

Paula: oh hey honey where are you going

Arthur: our little girl has a date tonight

Spencer: dad

Paula: oh honey that’s great its been a while sense you’ve been on a date (looking over at Ashley) and this must be her hi I’m Spencer’s mom Paula

Ashley: Ashley, its nice to meet you

Paula: same here well I’m hungry so I’m going into the kitchen to get something to eat

Arthur: I’ll join you it was nice to meet you Ashley I hope to see you again

Ashley: yea me to, so are you ready

Spencer: more than you’ll ever know

They went outside and got into ashley’s car. Ashley was surprised that after meeting Spencer’s parents that her nerves were very calm. And she knew that tonight was going to be a good night.

Spencer couldn’t believe her parents they are so embarrassing sometimes but she loved them and she was just thankful to be getting out of the house tonight. She was even more thankful that it was with Ashley.
