Loving Annabelle, Alternate Ending Fan Fiction Contest
The past two weeks Annabelle spent up on a little cloud. Moving into the loft with the woman she loved and had waited so long to be with was like nothing she could have imagined. She had lived with Simone for several weeks in the beach house, but having a place they could both call home woke a feeling in her she just couldn’t describe.
Annabelle had listened to every fear Simone had about their relationship, reassuring her every time she felt she needed it. But she never once let appear that, she too, was scared. She knew Simone was bound to find out one day or another her deepest fears, and maybe she had already discovered them, but she didn’t want to be the one to tell. All she wanted was believe they were stupid thoughts her mind made up because her brain couldn’t handle so much peace.
"Hey," Simone said, sleepily pulling the young woman into an easy and warm hug "What are you doing up this early? Did I punch you in my sleep or something?"
Annabelle smiled "Although you do move a lot during your erotic dreams, in which, by the way, I‘d better be the protagonist; you didn’t wake me."
"How do you know I’m not dreaming about kicking my aunt’s ass?"
"The moans. Well, I do hope no dreams involving your aunt make you moan."
Simone smiled tenderly and kissed her. "Mmm, then I guess I was dreaming about you." She paused and looked at the frying pan. "Good God, you’re really sticking to your cook book aren’t you?"
"Not so fast, you haven’t tasted it yet," Annabelle said smiling as she saw Simone put a piece of hot scrambled eggs in her mouth. Looking at her, suppressing a smile, she burst into a hearty laughter when Simone spit it out.
"I’m sorry. Maybe the cats will like it."
"I promise, you do not hate the cats that much," Simone said, smiling warmly as Annabelle pouted. "Aww, it’s okay. I’ll teach you."
Sat at an old fashioned desk, a woman was burying her face in her hands, trying to maintain her sobs. On her desk were two letters. Hearing her husband coming in, she quickly ripped them into pieces before hiding them in the little drawer where pieces of letters where already hidden. "Everything alright?" the man asked.
