Masked Identity – (Chapter: The Beach.)

Ashleys thought- Man, i hope she means that. Ugh i wish i could kiss her right now!!

Ashley leaned in and gave Spencer a hug. They held each other for a while. Then Ashley let go and turned to start driving again. They drove in a comfortable silence. Both deep in thoughts of each other.

       "Ok, we’re here."
"Awesome, so whats did you have to show me?"
"C’mon. You’ll see" She extends her arm and Spencer quickly takes it. They start walking down the beach, still in a comfortable silence. They walked for about five minutes, when they reached the pier. Ashley walked them under it to her special spot.
"Well, we’re here. This is my spot. I come here to escape the world, to think, to write. I’ve never shown anybody this."
"Wow, Ash. Its beautiful." Spencer said staring at the ocean.
"Yeah, it is." But Ashley wasnt looking at the ocean. She was looking at Spencer. "Wanna sit down?"
"Yeah." They sat down right beside each other. Shoulders barely brushing.
"Sooo, Spencer Carlin. Did Glen tell your whole family about what he heard."
"Yeah, the dumbass said it right there at the dinner table. My mom, well lets just say is very Catholic and very close-minded."
"Grrreeaatt, havent even met the woman and she already hates me."
"Oh well, she’ll get over it. Cause like I said. I’m not going anywhere. My dad will love you. He isnt so close-minded."
"Cool, at least one parent is decent. So whats a day in the Carlin household like anyways?"
"Well, whenever we are all home we have dinner and the table. My mom is constantly nib-nosing and always in everyones business. She’d a doctor. My dad is the cook and hes a counselor. He’s awesome. Clay, my adopted brother, is a genius. And Glen is a dumb jock. Thats pretty much it. What about the Davies household?"
"Well…my mom is always off with some new pool guy or watever. My dad travels the world. So I’m usually at home alone or at Gray’s."
       "Grays?"
"This club in town that everyone hangs at. Wanna go tonight?"
"Yeah, it definately sounds like fun."
"Yeah, it is. If you’re with the right people."
"Ok so, Ashley, whats your type?"
       "Of girls?"
       "Yeah"
"I dont know if i really have one. I guess I like blondes, who are around my height. Amazing blue eyes, usually from outta town. Awesome smile, banging body. Gives off an innocent look but definately not innocent."
