Maybe This Crush Isn't Completely Hopeless.

"Hey Bitch! Watch where your going!"

"What the hell is your problem, Carlin?"

    "Your fat ass!"

"LADIES!" We bothed stopped and looked over at Mrs. Jenny. "Please! We have a play going on and all you two can do is bicker. And might I add, very loudly."

I looked down, trying to decide if I should apologize or not. I gave in. I’m such a goody. "Sorry Mrs. Jenny."

"Yeah. I guess I’m sorry too." Spencer chimed in. We both knew we weren’t sorry, but we did it for the play’s sake.

"No, you two aren’t. You have been fighting ever since the auditions started and now it’s our big night. That’s a long time and you two still haven’t sorted it out. Now, I want you both to go into the girls’s dressing room and sort this out. You have until the play is over."

"Until the play is over?" She and I asked in unison.

    "Yes."

"But what about my part in the play?" Spencer whined. Hey, what about my part?

"Both of you have very small roles. I’m sure we can find replacements."

"Oh come on! All this for nothing?"

"I don’t wanna hear it. Carlin and Davies. Get in the dressing room!"

Sighing we both dragged ourselves over to the room. Swinging the door open, I cut off Spencer and walked in first. I heard her mumble "Ass" as I walked by. I took a seat on one of the tables and layed back. I could hear the blonde shut the door and walk over to a chair next to me.

"This is all your fault, Ashley."

"Oh yeah? And how might that be?"

"You can’t just take and insult." Spencer stated sitting down.

My jaw dropped in shock. "Me? What about you?"

    "Don’t change the subject."

    "Oh whatever."

We stayed quiet after that for a few minutes. I let my mind roam over everything that her and I have been through. Over everything that’s I’ve felt for her. Everything that I had to push to the back of my mind because I knew there was no use. Taking a deep breath, I turned my head towards her.

"What happened to us?" She looked up at me then looked back down.
