    AU. Something a little different.

    “Babe, you may believe whatever you want to believe, but I need to talk to her,” Ashley stated with a sigh. Ashley was about to walk towards Spencer and Melody stopped her. “Mel, let me pass. This is really important!”

    “What’s the use, Ash?” asked Melody with curiosity.

    “I’m getting the impression that you don’t even want to help her at all,” Ashley answered getting angry.

    “Of course I want to help her,” pointed out Melody. “Spencer is my best friend and I’ll do anything to help her out, alright?” Ashley nodded and Melody laced her arm with Ashley’s. “The thing is that we have to go, babe. We’re going to be late for class and as you already know I hate being late.” Melody tried to pull on Ashley’s arm to drag her the other way, however Ashley wouldn’t budge. “C’mon, Ashley. Let’s go!”

    “No!” Ashley said firmly. Melody looked surprised. “No, we’re not going anywhere until I get some answers from her.”

    “Ash, Spencer’s not going to open up to either one of us anytime soon about whatever is going on in her mind,” Melody pointed out with a sigh. “We’re not going to get anything out of her right now. Give her some time and space. She’ll surface.”

    “You can’t think like that,” responded Ashley in desperation. “We’ll have to keep on trying even if it kills us! Space isn’t what she needs right now, but someone to be there for her for her to vent. She needs us now more than ever. She may hate me all she wants for hurting her last year, but I’m going to give her the help she needs. I don’t want her to fall apart from whatever is destroying her on the inside. Are you with me or what, Mel? Either way, I’m helping her out.”

    “I’m with you,” Melody stated with a smile. “I’m really proud of you, babe.”

    “Spencer would do the same thing if one of us were in trouble,” added Ashley with a smile. Melody’s smiled faded and it didn’t go unnoticed by Ashley. “Is something wrong?” Ashley stroked Melody’s hair and immediately compared it to stroking Spencer’s hair earlier that day and tried to brush it off. “If there was something wrong, you’d tell me, right, Mel?”

    1. great update i’m glad spence finally let ashley in and ashley did all the right things to reassure her she’s not leaving her. melody got me mad if she’s spence’s best friend she would never of given up on spence but it seemed like her jealousy of ashley getting close to spence is affecting her. great update!pms!!
