"Ashley, are you serious?"

"Surprise!!!"

She started bouncing around like a little kid with a sparkle in her eye….I think I just feel in love….

"So ash, how did you do this?"

"Spence…my dad……huge rockstar…ring a bell?"

"Oh yea…but I don’t even have a passport or anything, is that okay?"

"yea, it really isn’t a problem, the Italians love me" I say with a chuckle

She laughs to and we stare into each others eyes again for like the 10th time already. I break

us out of our stupor.

"Spencer, can I ask you something?"

"yea, sure, what is it?" she says while putting her hand on top of mine sending sparks through

my entire body. I look at her again and smile.

"Well I was wondering, if maybe, you wouldn’t mind, after lunch, maybe going to see some

sights, and maybe spend the weekend there?"

"um….well…I don’t know, I mean what about my job?"

"Oh about that….your shift is covered for the weekend….I talked to LiL" I said with a devilish

smirk, and she just smirked back and shook her head at me.

"wow, your just full of surprises aren’t you?" She says this with a wink.

"Oh Spence, you don’t know the half of it.." I give a big smile with my famous nose crinkle and

stare into her beautiful eyes again.

"Spence…can I ask you another question?"

"Anything"

"can I kiss you?" I mumble this and am not even sure she hears me. She obviously heard me

because the next thing I know, she is lifting my chin so I am looking in her eyes and she is

leaning to wards me and I start to lean to wards her, its like we are in slow motion, are lips are

millimeters apart….then her cell phone rings.

"Shit, sorry ash, I should probably get that."

"yea, yea of course" I say obviously disappointed.

"hello"

" hey hon…how are you?"

"Mom?"

"yes, can’t I call my daughter every once in a while and check up on her?"

"sure, but I haven’t heard from you in 6 months, why now?

"Well I was in town, just wanted to know if you wanted to get some lunch?

"I can’t sorry, I am actually on a jet right now headed to Italy.
