No One's Gonna Love You Like I Do – (Chapter: I could show you a few things)

“I guess we could do serving..since that is kind of a big deal”

“Ok, come back here and stand at the line.” I follow her to the back of the court and stand at the line. I already know that I am dominantly right handed so I grab my racket in my right hand and a ball in my left. I become a little nervous when I feel her behind me, is this how tennis is supposed to be taught? because I could really get used to this. “Ok, so bend over slightly” whatever you say “bring the ball and racket together, toss the ball and bring the the racket up and back. When the ball is right above your head, hit it” I feel her hands on both of mine. She is firmly pressed against my back as she tosses the ball up slowly releasing that hand, and then brings my arm with the racket up and back. She guides me through the movements and when I finally hit the ball it flies over the net.

“Hey, I did it!!” I overeagerly tell her. Thats when I notice that she is still standing right behind me.

“Yea, you did..you did really great” she tell me as she lightly strokes my arms up and down. I get goosebumps over the places where her fingertips have been.

“Do you want to come over tomorrow night? My parents are going to be at a work thing, and I really just don’t want to be alone.” I am really hoping that I don’t snap her out of this trance..because she has to say yes..I need her to say yes.

“Yeah, that would be nice. I can make sure that you won’t be lonely.” YES!!

“Ok, well I think that we should probably get going. We did get something accomplished today” I tell her with a wink, and she just blushes and looks down. “I suppose we did Ms. Davies, I suppose we did. Come on, lets get you home”

The car ride home was quiet. She had on some alternative music that went perfectly with her attitude. It was carefree and lovely. Her hand was on the gear shift, tapping along with the beat. Half way home, she looks over at me as I stare out the window. She takes me by surprise when she takes my hand and interlocks are fingers. We rode the rest of the way like that.

When we get to my house, we sit in the driveway for a little bit to talk.

“I’ll see you tomorrow?” I ask, just to make sure she still wants to.

“Definitely. I’ll see you tomorrow.” she brings up my hand and kisses it. “Bye”

I am currently smiling and blushing like an idiot. “Ya, see you tomorrow. Bye”

I walk inside with the same stupid grin on my face. I feel like I’m I met someone famous or something because I don’t ever want to wash my hand again. My dad sees me and he just has a knowing smile on his face. As I walk up the stairs I hear, “We’re getting a hotel room after the function tomorrow” My smile grows even bigger..if that is even possible..Have I mentioned I love my dad?
