Not The Type – (Chapter: My Love)

“Hey,” I hear that beautiful voice in my ear but my eye lids are too heavy to lift this early in the morning.

“Are you really here?” I question, still with my eyes closed.

“Yeah,” I feel the bed dip then an arm around my waist. “I have class this morning, so I can’t stay long.”

“Ahhh…it’s so early.” I mumble while slowly opening my eyes. “You think you can take my morning breathe?”

“I took it yesterday.” Spencer laughs as I roll onto her.

“Shut up.” I kiss those lips that I’ve been missing since she drove off in a funk yesterday. “Give me a minute.” I mumble against her lips, and then jump off the bed.

After washing my face and brushing my teeth, I walk back into my childhood bedroom to see my girlfriend lying in the same place I left her.

“Morning gorgeous.” I grin and crawl back onto the bed, laying half on top of her.

“Miss me?” She smiles in runs her fingers threw my hair.

“Always.” I peck her lips a few times. “How’d you get in?”

“Ashley it’s ten thirty. You’re the only person in this house that sleeps this long.” She’s right. My mom gets up in makes breakfast by seven thirty, then the rest of the house slowly starts to rise. I am usually the last person to get up, when I stay over.

“Look,” I get comfortable between her legs and rest my elbows on either side of her shoulders; my face is only inches from hers. “I’m not the type to shut up and walk away from most things…” She opens her mouth to interrupt but I shut her up with a kiss. “Let me finish,” Spencer nods her head with a shy smile. “When I think someone is out of line, I’m going to let that person know exactly why they pissed me off.” Spencer rolls her eyes. “What did I tell you about rolling your eyes at me?” I lick her face.

“Ew…stop!” She laughs and lightly pushes my face away.

“Okay…seriously, I thought about what you said, and I agree. Sometimes I don’t have to be loud and confrontational.”

    “But?”

“But…when I feel like that person needs to be put in their place…and I can do it without things getting to out of control then, I’m going to let them know not to fuck with me.” I grin.
