"Spence, I’m not pushing you away. I just I can’t handle being that close to you. You always have to take it too far. Why can’t you just leave things be?" I say.

"Leave things be! Leave things be, Ashley? You almost killed a boy for almost kissing me! You were jealous as hell! And now you just want to turn your back on that! You just want to pretend that we don’t mean anything to eachother! Why, huh Ashley, why?" Spencer says enraged. Before I can respond she’s half way up the bank disapearing down a trail. She knows this forrest better than anyone if she gets to far I’ll never find her.

"Spencer!" I yell falling up the bank going after her.

"Go away!" Spencer screams at me from a distant direction. I can just make out her shape through the trees. Damnit! Ouch! I think as I trip over a root and fall flat on my chest since my hands weren’t quick enough.

"Spencer Please!" I bellow trying to get up. When I can see again she’s gone. Rubbing my chest I stalk back to the creek with my head low. Spencer, please come back. We need to talk about this. I send out to her. NO! I’m not talking to you any more! She screams back into my head.

Spencer’s POV

I went to my favorite place in the woods surrounding the creek. There’s a clearing up on a hill that has logs set up in a huge circle. It leads to another creek. Up here I can see in all directions. I can faintly hear both creeks babling. Sitting crosslegged on the log at the top of the circle I try to clear my head. I cast my senses out making sure everything is ok out here. But everythings not ok. Something is comming up the path ahead of me. It doesn’t seem vicious or wild it has this air of searching. It’d a dog I see as it gets closer. It’s kind of dark but I have a flashlight hidden from the rain so I can get home ok. The dog is big and kind of fluffy. I figure it’s a he when he pauses to lift his leg on a tree. He sees me and comes bounding over.
