P.S. I Love You – (Chapter: living in love.)
Truth be told…relationships come and go. Apparently I’m pointing out the obvious because that’s something we’ve all heard so many times before. Well the worst is when you’ve been committed to someone for the past two years then the relationship ends and you can’t deal because you don’t know how to only appeal to yourself. So, you consistently look at every guy, or in my case girl, around you thinking they could be your next relationship. That is until you talk to them and get completely shut down…
I was sitting in my AP English class with my best friend Aiden…actually the only reason we ever started talking was because of English class. We’ve been sitting next to each other since freshmen year, and now two years later he still sits by me because he claims if he doesn’t he’ll fail. So, back to my story…I was sitting in my AP class then I looked to a seat that was always empty, until today someone was in it…I saw perfectly conditioned, long blond hair which I couldn’t help but look at…
“Aiden…who’s that girl sitting in the question mark chair?” I asked him
“oh that’s Spencer…she just transferred here from West Brook High…” he told me
“ooh a prep school girl gone public…” I told him
“yeah…something tells me she’s not your type…” he said
“Aiden…I just dated a cheerleader for two years…prep school is like the same thing…”
“not exactly…” he told me
“is it bad that I really want to talk to her?” I asked
“no…you want to talk to every girl you see…” he said then I punched him in the arm
“ow” he yelped and Spencer turned around and laughed a little
“way to draw attention to yourself…” I told him “…and did you just see her? She is so hot…” I said
“yeah…once again, she’s not your type…” he told me
“you wait…I’ll talk to her after class and get a date like that…” I said snapping my fingers
“yeah you think so? Well when you ask her out call her prepper…I’m sure she’ll love that” he said sarcastically
“ok class…lets start today off with open discussion…” our teacher said “…as you can see, there’s a quote on the board… ‘there are two tragedies in life, one is to lose your hearts desire the other is to gain it.’ What do we think George Bernard Shaw means by this?” she asked us and Spencer raised her hand “yes…Miss Carlin…” she said calling on her
