“and you’re sure?” her dad asked me as her mom looked at the ring

“this is gorgeous” she told me

“thank you” I replied smiling “and I’m positive” I told him

“then we approve…Ashley we wouldn’t want our daughter to marry anyone else except for you…” her dad told me

“we know you’ll take care of her…” her mom said “…and she’ll take care of you” she added and I just laughed a little then I looked at the time

“oh shoot…okay thank you so much!” I told them giving them both hugs

“call and let us know what happens” her mom said

“I will!” I told them heading out the door so I could head to work

Later that night, Spencer opted on staying at my house…after my long day at work and hers too, we just needed alone time together…I rested on my elbow and we just talked, which was one of the greatest things ever

“you know…you’re kind of perfect” I told her

“you’re not so bad yourself” she told me then I lent down and kissed her softly on the lips over and over then I reached under the pillow next to her head and grabbed the little tiffany’s ring box

“hey so I was thinking a lot today…” I told her breaking the kiss “…and I kind of need to ask you something, because it’s been on my mind for a while” I said

“is it about your music?” she asked curious

“uh…not exactly” I told her smiling “I was wondering…” I started then I opened the box with my one hand and held the ring in front of her “…will you marry me?” I asked and her eyes grew wide

“that’s the…how did you?…” she said shocked about the ring then she looked at me smiling “…yes!” she exclaimed “yes I’ll marry you!” she added and I kissed her softly on the lips

“will you marry me or the ring?” I asked her and she just glared at me “I’m kidding” I told her then she laughed and pulled me into a kiss “I have a confession” I told her

“what?”

“I’ve had that ring for five months…” I said

“what?! how did I not find it?”

“i know how you look for things” I told her laughing “I put it in the one place you would never look because you over analyze” I said

“where the hell did you put it?”

“my old pair of converse sneakers” I told her

“ugh! I never would have looked there!”

“exactly!” I told her laughing and she stated laughing too then I put the ring on her finger “perfect fit” I said looking at the ring while she was looking at me

“yeah we are” she added then I looked into those blue eyes and kissed those soft lips again…

“so…does this mean you’ll move in with me?” I asked her

“why can’t you move in with me?’ she asked

“because I have a house…you have an apartment, and although cute…I know you love my house”

“I do love your house” she said smiling

“I know” I told her kissing her again
