“I love Dr.Carlin!”

“Yea me too.” We both laughed then noticed that Ashley had already pulled up to the house or more like the mansion. I had never seen a house like this and this is coming from a doctor’s daughter.

I walked into the house behind the sisters and loved everything that I saw but it really didn’t look like a home. It didn’t really look lived in.

“In here Spence.” I followed Ashley’s voice into a room that I took to be the family room. It was the only room I had saw so far that looked lived in. it had a lot of kiddy art over the area. A guitar and piano set in the corner and a big television was turned on to SpongeBob.

“No SpongeBob Kali. Go in the kitchen and get a snack then start on your homework in there, not in your room this time.” Kali looked at Ashley frowned then ran towards the kitchen.

“Sorry about her Spence. She can be a hand full, but I love her.”

“It’s cool, she is great.”

“Okay so I have other homework to get done. So is it cool if I start on that first and then we start on the project. You can even stay for dinner. I think we are having pizza.”

“That is fine and why don’t I cook us all something instead. I am a great cook.”

“Great! We should have everything you need in the refrigerator. I never open it but I know that it is stocked every week with new food.”

“Okay get your homework done and I’ll start on mines then all three of us can cook dinner.”

“Umm not me. I get hurt every time I step foot in that kitchen.” I laughed at Ashley because she looked horrified of a kitchen.

“You will be fine, now get to your homework.” She was about to protest again, but I stopped her by opening my text book and starting to read.

 “Spence!” I ran into the kitchen and found Ashley covered in flour and Kali on the floor laughing.

“What happened?”

“I don’t know I was cutting the onions and the next thing I know I am covered in this.” I was trying not to laugh, but she was the only girl I knew that could cut an onion and end up with flour all over her.
