"Uh, do you mind giving me a second alone. I need to get this."

"Ok, it’s an important call I get it. Wait…. who would be calling you at midnight." Why are you so damn nosey?

"Aiden, I just… I need to answer this, ok?" I bark.

"Ok ok. I’ll go." He throws his hands in the air, defeated. "Meet me at the car when your done." When he’s out of sight, I release a breath I didn’t even realize I was holding. Gathering my thoughts, I notice my phone still vibrating. Crap. Answer it, stupid!

"Hello?"

"Hey," Ashley says softly and I grin. "I’m sorry. It’s late, but I-I couldn’t sleep. How are you enjoying your night?"

"To be honest… Aiden’s being an ass." I walk back into the restroom and take my original seat on the couch.

"What do you mean, baby?"

"He’s…" I hesitate a moment. I’m not quite sure if Ashley is a jealous type. If she is, me telling her what Aiden has been doing all night, won’t be good for Aiden. "Well, he’s-"

She cuts me off. "Spencer just tell me. What’d he do?"

"Ok," I take a deep breath. "He’s been grinding and squeezing and rubbing and feeling and-" Ashley interupts me again.

"HE WHAT?" She yells so loud, I have to lean my head away from the phone because it’s so loud.

"Ashley…" Atempting to calm her down, she just keeps talking.

"You’re telling me that mother fucking bitch ass cunt is all up on my woman?" Aw, I’m her woman. "Where are you? Tell me now! I’m going over there and beating the shit head to the fucking ground!"

"No, Ashley, please. Calm down."

"I will not calm down!"

"Please." I beg softly. This is not how I want to spend my last night in town.

That simple word seemed to calm her down because her talking returned to normal. "Spencer, I want you to come to my house. I just want to be with you. Tell Aiden to take you back home and I’ll pick you up from there."

"I would love nothing more than that, but what am I going to tell my mom? You know she said she didn’t want me seeing you right now."

"Right. Forgot about that…" Ashley drifts off. I wonder if my mom would buy my spending the night at Aiden’s house.

"Don’t worry. I’ll come up with something. Just be at my house in an hour."

"But-" This time I interupt her.

"Just go."

"Ok, I will see you there."

"Bye, Ash."

"Bye."

Now, I only hope that Aiden won’t be nosey about this too.
