Coming from anyone else that would sound like a joke but coming from him he meant it. I can’t count how many times we’ve had this conversation, it’s not that he’s possessive, okay it’s because he’s possessive. He seems to have trust issues for some reason, I don’t know what would give him the idea that I was cheating, okay I do know but this is the first time that this has ever happened. He sees a guy talking to me and he will freak, assume that I’m going to run off with him, but claims that it’s not me he doesn’t trust it’s the other “scumbags” out there.

“Park, can we not start this, please?”

“What, I’m sorry. You’re a gorgeous girl and I can’t help but worry that some hot guy is going to catch your eye” how about a hot girl?

“There is no hot guy catching my eye, so you don’t need to worry.” Not a lie

“Are you sure you don’t want me to come down there?” he asks again, I know if I say yes he will be here on the next flight

“No don’t be silly, you have work. But I’m a little tired still so I’m gonna lay down. I’ll talk to you later?”

“Alright, I love you babe” he replies

“love you too” I say before hanging up

As much as I wanted to hear Ashley’s voice right now I didn’t want to call her or talk to her. I know it sounds mean but I just can’t deal with everything that’s going on. I just needed some time to myself for a bit, I’ll text her a little later. About 15 minutes later Kyla and Aiden came back and of course I had to go through the whole “How are you feeling” thing which was annoying but at least they cared. I was starting to feel hungry and my parents suggested we go to one of the hotel restaurants, if I would have known we were going to run into Ashley and her family I never would have agreed to go, they were waiting for a table when we walked in and my mother recognized Ashley and her sister so my parents having the connections that they did they proposed that we all sit together, or else they would be waiting for another 45 minutes. There we were all ten of us sitting at a long rectangular table, I had never even met Ashley’s parents. They seemed nice, her mother looked just like them but Ashley had her father’s eyes, they all did. The adults were sitting at one end of the table, followed by the boys across from each other, next was Blake and Kyla followed by Me across from Ashley at the other end of the table. God only knows what the adults were talking about but they seemed to be enjoying themselves, at least some one was. I was trying to busy myself with the conversation that Kyla and Blake were having which was about this store they both shop at. Ashley’s been staring at me for at least 4 minutes and I’ve been aware of it the entire time which is why I’m either looking at my menu or looking at Blake.
