Shake Rattle and Roll – (Chapter: What would’ve happened)

"Just some kid selling candy." I yelled out, back to my dad and i was shocked at how fast i was able to lie. The reason was right in front of me. The beautiful brunnete in my doorway. "C’mon" i said quietly as i tugged he in the door quickly. I had no idea what i was doing, but i was good at it.

I made ashley go up the sairs first in case we didnt both make it before my dad came out of his little resturaunt. I watched her as she quickly ran up the stairs and i checked to make sure my dad wasnt coming before i quietly darted up the stairs.

She was way ahead of me and was sitting on the edge of my bed. I went from behind and layed on my stomach. "Are you sure you dont want me to confess to the break in? I hate seeing you in forced confiment." She was so sweet. I felt like I needed to confess everything to her.

The real reason i did it was because i couldnt let her get shipped off to some work camp. I would never get to see her again, and i couldnt handle that. "Three days at home has its beifits." That’s not confessing. "And by the end of the week ill be caught up on my beauty sleep." I put on a huge fake smile. Way to go, spencer. Thats telling her exactly how you feel.

"which you SO need." Ashley said joking.

"HEYYY!" i threw a pillow at her and she caught it as it plowed into her face. I sat up and tilted my head to the side and looked at her. There was something going on in her head and i couldnt figure it out.

"Thanks." Thanking me? For what. I totally didnt do anything she wouldnt do for me. I hope.

    "For what?" I asked curiously.

"I used to think no one cared about what happened to me…An then i met you." She smiled at me as if the smile was reserved strictly for me. As if it had a sign on it that said "reserved for: Spencer Carlin"

I began getting butterflies in my stomach as i knew this was the time to tell her. We stared for a few more seconds and i swear she was looking into my heart, through my eyes. I didnt turn away. A questioning look came upon her face as if she was wondering wether or not she should do one thing or another.
