The day went on and on, well it felt like it did, only good thing about it was Spencer, and i only met her today. She had every class but one with me, and she sat with me, aiden, and our friends at lunch too. She seemed to get on with everyone, the class she didnt have with me she had with my friend Madison.

 I told Madison to show Spencer to her class, and for both of them to meet me at the school gates at end of the day. (well school day that is)

 3.20pm, school is finished, im at the gates waiting for Spencer and Madison. A few minutes later i see them walking towards me.

‘Hi’ Spencer shouts.

 ’Miss me, did ya?’ i say all cocky.

 ’As if’ she says back to me.

 ’She was just fine with me, thank you’ Madison says butting into our banter.

 ’Yeah, i was just fine with Maddy, thank you very much Ashley, so dont get all big headed thinking your the only one who would talk to me’ Spencer says with a big grin on her face.

 ’Well, lil miss Spencer, if it was not for me you would not have met maddy (points to Madison) here’ i say with a big cocky grin on my face. 

 Spencer and Madison both look at me, then we all start laughing.

 ’Anyways, i got to get home, do some homework, the practice my trampolining, or my mum will flip’ Madison say laughing. ‘haha, get it, FLIP’ she walks away still laughing

 ’So Spencer, what are you doing this afternoon?’ i ask

 ’I was just going to go home, as i still dont know anyone around here yet’ she says

 ’Well you know me, and it jus so happens you moved in 3 doors away from me, so how about, we walk home together, you talk to your parents to see if its ok and i will show you around town, sound good?’ i say with a smile on my face.

‘Sounds good to me, but only if you dont mind’ she replies 

 ’If i minded, i would not have offered, i have lived here my whole life, so i know my way around pretty well’ 

 With that we walk home.

 An hour later, she knocks on my door, my mum answers, followed my my lil 10 year old brother, who is being noisey wanting to know whos at the door.

 ’Hi, im Spencer, im a friend of Ashleys, is she here? She asks my mum.

 ’ASHLEY, ASHLEY, get down here NOW, some girl called Spencer is as the door for you’ she shouts up the stairs to me.

 I come running down the stairs, nearly fall as im so excited to be spending the afternoon with Spencer, just the 2 of us. She sees me nearly fall and laughs.

I walk to the front door where Spencer is standing, shout bye to my family, say i will be home by 9.30pm, and we leave. i dont wanna stay there any longer than i have too. 

 As we are walking away Spencer says ‘Is your mum always like that, she seemed, kinda scary’

 ’Yeah’ i say ‘Pretty much all the time, only time shes not is whens she wants something, but im used to it not, so i just get on with it, im happy to be outta the house now’ i say with a sad look upon my face.

 ’Well, now you have me, i only live 3 doors away, we can hang out whenever you want, and you know where i live if you just wanna come over and talk, or just to get away from it all’ Spencer says really sincerley, she smiles at me, which makes me smile.

 She leans over to me and gives me a hug, OMG, she smells gorgeous.

 We have been walking for about 20 minutes now, and we just got into town.

 We decide that shopping is in order to celebrate Spencer’s first day going so well, she did meet me after all.
