    Jealousy takes over, could Spencer sink any lower?

    SPENCER’S P.O.V.

    I know what she’s trying to do. Well its not working. I can’t believe she went upstairs with that…that…that freak! Yea, I couldn’t think of anything. She looks like a clone of Willow from Buffy the vampire slayer! What can she see in………no. I’m not doing this. I am NOT jealous.

    Aiden: “Babe?”

    Spencer: “Hmm?”

    Aiden: “Are…you ok?”

    Spencer: “I’m fine.” I push him back down and kiss him.

    Arthur: “Dinner’s ready!” he yelled from the kitchen. Aiden gets up and rushes to the table.

    Spencer: “Ass.” I mumble. I see that Emma, Amy, what ever her name is, She comes down the steps. I walk over to her.

    Spencer: “Where’s Ashley?”

    Emily: “She’s in the bathroom.”

    Spencer: “Listen Amy…”

    Emily: “It’s Emily.” she says innocently, like I really give a fuck what her name is.

    Spencer: “Yea, whatever. Has Ashley told you about her dad?”

    Emily: “No, she’s never mentioned him.”

    Spencer: “Well, you should really ask her about him. She likes telling people about him.”

    Emily: “Ok, thanks for letting me know.” she smiled. I give her a pat on the back.

    Spencer: “No problem.” I say with a grin, then walk to the table. I hear the front door open and look back.

    Christine: “Sorry I’m late, I had to go to five stores to find the cake.” Ashley came down the stairs.

    Ashley: “Hey mom.” she hugged her. She stepped back and took Emma’s hand. “Mom. This is my girlfriend Emily.”

    Christine: “Well, it nice to finally meet you Emily.”

    Emily: “Nice to meet you too Ms. Davies.”

    Christine: “Please, call me Christine.” I boil over and stomp to the table, taking my seat by Aiden. Everyone gets seated. That geek Amy, Emma, whatever is next to Ashley. Holding hands on the table, fingers intertwined…they’re so sickening, not even as cute as me and Ash would be. I can’t be jealous.

    Christine: “So, Emily…tell me something interesting about yourself.”

    Ashley: “Mom.” she whined.

    Emily: “It’s ok Ash.” she takes a deep breath and thinks. “Oh, well, there was this one time, at band camp…” right there, I didn’t need to hear anymore and I just burst out laughing.

    Spencer: “You’re kidding right?” I say through my laughter. She looks at me, resentfully.

    Emily: “Actually, I’m not.” ok, I SO was not the only one who laughed at that. I saw Ash snickering too. My parents give me a stern look.

    Spencer: “Sorry.” I say, almost inaudible.

    We went through dinner, I wasn’t too hungry, I just picked at my food. I feel bad. I don’t like Emma, but I have no reason to not like her. She hasn’t done anything to make me hate her. Other than the fact that she’s with Ashley. But why is it bothering me, it shouldn’t. I wish Ash and I were still close. Like we use to be.

    Aiden and I are back on the loveseat while Ashley and…Emily are on the couch. Mom’s clearing off the table, dad’s cleaning up the kitchen, and Christine’s making coffee and getting dessert ready. I remember the conversation I had with Emily before dinner. I shouldn’t have told her to ask Ash about her dad. I hope I can stop her before she does, but I have to wait for Ashley to leave. It’ll hurt Ashley more than it’ll hurt Emily if she asks about him. Aiden plays with my hair.

    Spencer: “Stop it!” I swat his hand away and continue watching Ashley whisper in Emily’s ear and they both keep giggling. I hate that. I use to make her giggle. Now all we do is argue.

    Aiden: “Spencer…do you want me here?” um…

    Spencer: “Of course I do.” I say sweetly then take his hand and intertwine our fingers. I look back over at Ashley and Emily.

    Emily: “So Ashley…tell me about your…” it was like it was all in slow motion. I shake my head no, but Emily doesn’t see. “…dad.” I think she said that in a normal speed, but from what I see, it came out slower than my grandma walks.

    The look on Ashley’s face. She looks like she’s about to cry. She moves away from Emily and looks down at her hands.

    Spencer: “Aiden, lets go on the back porch.” I practically yank his arm out of its socket, pulling him up from the couch and drag him out the back door.

    3. wow and I though Spencer couldn’t get any lower. you have proven me wrong yet again. she is absolutely horrible! I happy that ashley isnt with her (though secretly I wish they were cause we all love Spashley) but really once Ashley finds out that Spencer told Emily to ask that, I don’t think there will be any hope for Spencer any time soon, as it should be right now I can’t believe she did that. great job though you always know how to gt us riled up don’t you?

    7. Dude…I so still use that line, but I have everyone finish it for me. So, one time I was just talking and forgot that I do it all the time and I was with like five ppl, and I just randomly said, “yeah, oh and this one time-” and everyone cut me off at the same time and said, “at band camp?” It was hilarious, because I never knew how much I’d use that line. Still, do. So, I hope Spence gets it together. And PMS you awesome, cheers mate.
