ASHLEY’S P.O.V.

She hasn’t said anything since this morning. She glared at me the entire car ride to school, she glared at me when we were talking to our friends, and she’s giving me the death glare right now as we sit in our second class of the day. I try to avoid looking at her, the death glare isn’t really scary, it’s kind of cute actually. Like baby tigers trying to growl. They try to be mean, but they’re just so cute, you want to go ‘aww’ and cuddle them. But if I don’t come off as scared, I’ll probably just piss her off even more, then she won’t be that cute little tiger. I quickly raise my hand.

Mr. Welkins: “Yes, what is it this time Ashley?” He asks annoyed.

Ashley: “May I please, please, please, pleassseeeee go to the restroom?” I beg him for the fifth time.

Aiden’s probably tired of waiting. But he’s hall monitor for this period, so what else is he gonna do?

Mr. Welkins: “Yes, take the pass and get out.” He says frustrated. I hurry out of my seat, grab the hall pass and jog to the quad.

Ashley: “You got it set up?” I ask Aiden.

Aiden: “I’m still trying. They’ve changed it up since I wired it last time for Spence.” He says, tinkering with the wires.

Ashley: “Damn it Aiden! You have to get this. She’s pissed at me, I had no idea she was gonna ask me to prom.”

Aiden: “Haha, so she asked you first. Kinda screws up the plan huh?”

Ashley: “I actually think this could work out, she’s pissed, so the angrier she is, the happier she’ll be when I ask her.” I watch him working on the wires. “I’m gonna get set up, I’ll be back.” He nods and I go to my locker, getting the dress out.

I change in the restroom. I’m in a dress that stops just below my knees. I pull my curly hair into a side ponytail and leave my bangs out. I put on a pair of short black heels, grab my stuff and head back to the quad.

Ashley: “I am so gonna get suspended for this.” I say, watching him.

Aiden: “Are you sure you want to do it like this, I mean they could refuse your prom ticket for doing it, and you’ve already bought ‘em, right?”
