Grissom takes Aiden to the Police Station to question him. Grissom says to Aiden Madison made you look bad so you snapped and pushed her off that roof. Aiden yells and says he only wanted to shut Madison up. Grissom asks Aiden what made him so angry to kill. Aiden tells Grissom that the day before his wedding to Kyla Davies he slept with Madison. Because Madison told Aiden if he didn’t sleep with her the night before his wedding to Kyla she would lie to Kyla and tell her that Aiden slept with her when he did not so Kayla wouldn’t end up marrying Madison’s man of her dreams. Aiden says due to Madison’s threats he slept with her before his wedding so she would keep quiet but Madison still planned on telling Kyla even after he had slept with her. So he went to Madison’s penthouse to scare her but he insisted he didn’t kill her because on his way there he saw from the window Madison fighting with someone. Aiden said he noticed a man with blond hair and blue eyes with a bloody handprint on his shirt running out of the penthouse. Aiden thought the man looked to be Glen Carlin. Grissom then lets Aiden leave and then puts a call into Catherine Willows and Nick Stokes saying he has information on another suspect and that the suspect could be getting ready to leave town soon. Catherine and Nick arrive at Glen’s apartment to talk with him. They knock on the door no one answers but it appears to be open so they go inside. They see blood on the floor and find pamphlets for drug and alchol rehab centers on the coffee table in the living room but no sign of Glen Carlin. Catherine and Nick begin to leave the apartment when they see Glen Carlin pull up in a black SUV and get out. Glen spots them and runs the other way however they catch up with him and handcuff and detain him.

At the station Catherine and Nick explain to Glen that Aiden Dennison says he saw him running from Madison Duarte’s penthouse on the night of her death, and that it seemed there had been blood on his shirt, possibly Madison Duartes? Glen says he can explain, Glen tells them that his sister Spencer Carlin had been battling a drug addiction and that Spencer had came to him one night all covered in blood and shaking. Hence how Glen got the blood on his shirt. Glen says Spencer told him she didn’t have any money to pay her drug dealer and that she then killed her drug dealer in self- defense, because if she didn’t kill her drug dealer she would have been the one killed instead. Unbeknownst to anyone Kyla Davies was Spencer Carlin’s drug dealer. She was the one Spencer had killed, knowing this Glen went to Madison to ask her to help him cover up Kyla’s death, so Spencer wouldn’t have to spend the rest of her life in prison. Glen then says that Madison agreed to help him cover up Kyla’s death. After he had told them everything he knew Catherine and Nick allowed Glen to leave. Catherine tells Grissom later everything Glen Carling told her and so Grissom decides to interrogate Spencer Carling next. Spencer says that everything her brother said was true, but she says she didn’t have anything to do with Madison Duarte’s death because she was in a rehab center to get better. Spencer then tells Catherine and Nick let after she got out of rehab that she saw Ashley Davies her ex- girlfriend and Madison meeting in the park and it looked as though they were arguing. Grissom dismisses Spencer Carlin and goes to see Ashley Davies to question her about her meeting with Madison Duarte in the park.

Ashley says that Madison and her did meet in the park to discuss what happened to Kyla. Unbeknownst to Glen and Spencer Kyla didn’t die as a result of Spencer’s attack she was just wounded. Ashley then confessed that she actually killed Kyla. Kyla went to Ashley to tell her what Spencer did to her. So Ashley says she shot Kyla to protect Spencer from going to prison and also because she was jealous that Kyla was becoming a bigger star than her. Ashley says she didn’t kill Madison because when she arrived at Madison’s penthouse the night of Madison’s untimely death Madison was already on the roof fighting with her own father. After interogatting and arresting Ashley Davies Grissom then goes to Madison’s father’s house to arrest him for the murder of his own daughter. At the station Madison Duarte’s father says they were fighting because Madison had found out about his affair with his secetary and she threatened to tell her mother his wife what was going on. Scared that his wife would leave him he said he shook Madison just to scare her so she wouldn’t say anything to her mom about the affair, she then tried to get out of his grip but when she stepped back she slipped and fell off the roof.

In the end Madison Duarte risked her life to do something right for a change. Even though Madison Duarte didn’t make it to see another day Grissom, Catherine and Nick Stokes made it so justice prevailed at least for Madison.
