Ashley’s body started getting hot, but goose bumps were appearing everywhere.  She laid her body flat against Spencer’s whose hips arched wanting a closer contact.  The blonde let a silent groan escape when feeling a toned thigh slip between her legs, applying pressure to exactly where she needed. Spencer had started unbuttoning Ashley’s blouse just when they hear some one opening the door.

At lunch, Spencer did make it to the booth with Ashley and their friends, with the exception of Lucy who decided she would also sit there.  Ashley as always was squished against the wall with Spencer next to her.  All conversations were lost to the brunette who concentrated more on what looked like beef stew than her surroundings. *I don’t even know what to think. We kissed.  We kissed.* she paused looking to her right at the blonde she thought of so much. *What does this mean?  Is she going to stay with Lucy? I don’t want her to, I want her so much.* the feeling of familiar soft fingers lacing with hers snapped Ashley out of her world.  She knew it was Spencer, who wasn’t paying attention to her; the blonde had a habit of stroking Ashley’s thumb when they slept together and now. 

All was interrupted as Ashley felt her phone vibrating in her knee high tube sock.  “Maddi! Oh my god!” the brunette squealed into her phone causing all attention to focus on her. “I miss you so much!” …”Oh yeah!” Everyone’s attention went back to previous discussions, except Spencer, who remained focused on Ashley who let her hand go when the phone rang. “Hey guys, can you let me out?” Ashley asked covering the mouthpiece with her hand.  Everyone let her out, although Spencer was reluctant to; curious about this ‘Maddi’ person and why Ashley missed her so much and needed to say something she couldn’t say in front of her.

When reaching a vacant table in the back of the cafeteria, Ashley could finally gush about her feelings for Spencer to her friend without being killed.  “Her name is Spencer Carlin, she’s my roommate and has a girlfriend, but I think I’m in love with her!”

From the distance Spencer could see how excited Ashley was while talking to the Maddi person and felt a great surge of jealousy go through her body.
