Strange Encounters – (Chapter: Pt. 2)
I absorbed the information before calculating that this was the only son. He looked familiar but I couldn’t remember from where. I set up a mini barely visible camera on the over-hanging abstract painting piece. it blended in nicely with the piece so Glen wouldn’t suspect a thing. I made my way out of the room and explored the loft some more. A room in the far corner was illuminated with light underneath the door frame. I put my ear to the door and heard water running. I silently crept inside hiding behind the robe rack just in time as a brown shaded, black-haired man walked out of the bathroom. I shadowed his steps as he walked and quickly slipped out of the room when he turned. I smirked at how close I was getting and read the door.
‘Aiden D.’
I internally chuckled at how easy this was, I could have killed everyone but orders were to make this slow. I needed to watch and gather information.
I whistled to myself as I walked out the front door. Two guards looked alarmed since they never saw me enter. They’re calm green color became violet from they’re confusion.
"How did you…", I quickly kicked him across his face before he could finish his sentence, then mashed my elbow into the others face; while kicking him in his lower region.
I rolled my eyes at the groaning bodies on the floor and let myself out the gate. I walked casually down the street , when suddenly I saw that mysterious blue shade again. A car swerved into my direction out of nowhere, and reflexes I’ve honed over the years saved me, as I tucked and rolled out of the way.
I was bent over dusting myself off as the car went to a complete stop, and I heard an almost familiar voice apologizing profusely.
"Oh my god! I’m so sorry I didn’t even see you with all that black on, are you okay? Do you want me to take you to the hospital?", the female voice questioned.
I stood upright and turned my body. My lips twitched at the sudden gasp from the blonde teen I encountered two weeks prior. It was her… I couldn’t stop thinking about her blue shade, it was unnatural. Seeing my amused face she scowled and no longer reached her hand to help me.
"What are you doing here?!", she demanded.
