I smiled, glad that his evening went well. That made two of us actually. My blood rushed when I thought of last night…again. I have never been the submissive one in a relationship and the way Spencer had reacted to some of my advances just led me to assume that she was, but her out of the blue confidence shocked me. Not once last night but twice I found myself reacting flustered just as she had to me, and in a way I liked it. The first day I had met Spencer, Kaylen had told me she was a great kisser. Which explained so perfectly why Kaylen was straight. Spencer wasn’t just a great kisser, she did this thing with her tongue that put her in a whole other league. I was pretty sure that given enough time she could make me come by just kissing me. Yeah….I definitely wanted to test that theory out.

I flopped back onto my bed and dialed Aiden’s number.

“Hey Gorgeous!” Aiden answered.

“Wow, someone is in a good mood! Would it be the after effects of a evening spent with a beautiful raven haired girl?” I asked.

“It totally is.” I could see his perma-grin through the phone. He immediately went into conversation of their date. He has always been a romantic and so it didn’t surprise me when he said that he made her dinner and then went for a walk through the University arboretum.

“Yeah, I saw the picture of you guys there that Kaylen sent Spencer.” I said. “You two could be a couple of freaking models.”

“Whatever! So how was your evening with the grandmas and Spencer?” He asked.

I told him that I thought the evening was a set up for Spencer and I. That they told us we looked gorgeous together, embarrassed the hell out of us with old stories and then ditched us early for pinochle. Aiden asked if the set up worked. I laughed and said yeah that it actually did because we spent the rest of the evening talking over a bottle of wine.

“So did you have a good time?” Aiden hinted. I knew he wanted more information.

“Yeah, I really enjoyed getting to know her a bit more” I said.

“So…does that mean you kissed her?”

“Nope”

“Oh…” he sounded disappointed.

“She kissed me.” I added. I held the phone away from my ear as Aiden did a loud whoop.

I couldn’t help but laugh. My call waiting signal went off. I glanced and noticed it was Spencer.

“Hey Aiden, Spencer is calling. You mind if we do more catch up later?” I asked.

“No prob. Love ya Ash.”

“Love ya too” I said before I clicked over.

“Hey you” I said. I was nervous. Just to hear her voice, wondering what she would say.

“Hey ya back. How are you doing today?” She asked. Her voice was soft and low. God, that voice made me weak.

“I..I am good” I managed to get out.

“So, uh you mentioned last night that uhm…well do you think you might….” Spencer hesitated. I hear her whisper ‘fuck around I sound like a fucking idiot’ away from the phone. It made me laugh because I knew she was chastising her self.

“Right sorry. So do you want to go out. On a date. With me. Tomorrow?” she punctuated.

“Uhhh let me think…” I drug out the words. I loved making her uneasy.

“Damn it Ashley!” She said laughing. “Quit messing with me. You have me so hot and bothered I can’t even make complete sentences.”

“In that case, yes I will. Go out. On a date. With you. Tomorrow.” I replied teasing her.

“You are a punk! But thanks for coming out with me. Does a picnic sound good?” She asked.

“Sure what should I bring?”

“Whipped cream.” she said in the sexiest voice I have ever heard. “Ok I will see you tomorrow. Caio.” She promptly hung up.

I was reduced to incomplete thoughts.
