I quietly went upstairs and put on a pair of shorts and a tank.  I crept back down and then kneeled down beside her.  I loved watching her sleep.  I gently pulled her cell phone away from her sleeping hand and slipped it into the waist band of my shorts. 

“Ash, come on babe let’s go to bed.” I whispered into her ear.  She curled her arms sleepily around my neck and I stood up slowly lifting her to her feet.

“You smell good.” She murmered resting her head on my shoulder.  I smiled at how full of sleep her voice was.  I turned her around to head to the stairs keeping my arms wrapped around her waist as we walked up to the loft.

She went over to the quarter bath in the loft to brush her teeth while I found her a tank to sleep in.  When I turned around she was sitting on the bed with her eyes closed.  She had toothpaste at the corners of her mouth.  It made me laugh quietly at how non-functional she was when sleepy.  I set her phone on the nightstand then turned to her and kissed the toothpaste away.  I felt her smile into my mouth.

“I left that there on purpose” she said groggily.

“Sure you did.” I replied as I lifted her shirt over her head and took off her bra before slipping on the tank.  I pushed her on her back and pulled off her jeans.

“Sheesh Spence if you wanted me naked you could just ask.  God I love this bed.” She said rolling over.  I shook my head at her barely coherent sentences and slipped into bed beside her.  I leaned over and turned off the lamp.  Ashley curled her back into me as I wrapped my arm around her.  It felt so good to just fall asleep with her.

Once again I left Ashley in my bed as I jetted out the door for school.  I told her I would catch up with Aiden and Kaylen on details for this weekend and talk to her later.   The rest of my day was so busy.  Between classes, working at the clinic, my study session and taking care of Ellen’s horses it was close to 9:30 by the time I slowed down.
