Tell Me Where it Hurts – (Chapter: Ch. The(Double) Dating Game)
"Thank you. That’s very sweet." I said, I could feel myself blush.
"No problem, really." She replied. Grandma came out into the foyer and smiled at Lucy.
"Lucy! So good to see you! She said giving her a hug.
"Nice to see you, too." She replied.
"I’ll go put this in water, Spencer, you girls go on and have a great time." Grandma said while taking the rose from my hand and heading out into the kitchen.
"Alright, thanks grandma."
"Are you ready to go?" Lucy asked me.
"Yeah." I answered and with that, we were on our way.
We got to her car and like always, she opened the door for me and closed it when I got in.
"We have to stop at my house first, to pick up Ashley, she wasn’t ready by the time I left, so she said just to pick her up after I picked you up, that girl takes forever to get ready. Seriously" She laughed, and I laughed too.
We got to Lucy’s house and she honked the horn. Ashley ran out hopping on one foot while trying to put her shoe on and holding the other shoe by it’s shoelace, which was in her mouth by the way.
"Jeez, I didn’t know you’d be back so soon!" Ashley said plopping into the back seat.
"Well if you would have been ready earlier, we probably could have been at the movies by now." Lucy said looking back at her while pulling out of the driveway.
"So-RRY." Ashley grumbled out. Lucy looked at me and rolled her eyes.
Lucy drove down the street and turned right, which I guess wasn’t the right way to go.
"Where are you going?!" Ashley asked loudly.
"Uh, to go pick up your little girlfriend!" Lucy responded.
"Why are you going this way?" She asked, looking at Lucy like she was an idiot.
"This is the way to go!" She said.
"The other way would have been shorter."She said as-a-matter-of-factly.
"I don’t care, it’s obviously too late now." Lucy said "Sisters…" she mumbled under her breath, I looked at her and started laughing, she looked back at me ad started laughing as well. We pulled into what must have been Ashley’s girlfriend’s driveway. She got out and ran up to the door. Before ringing the doorbell, she looked at her reflection and fixed her hair in one of the windows and checked her breath, which I thought was adorable. Wait, no I didn’t.

I’m loving this! …I can’t imagine Ashley as a scouser.. loving it though! As a fellow Brit, I can sympathise with the Americans thinking it rains most of the time, it’s true, it does :P
