The College Life – (Chapter: Chapter 8: Secrets Revealed)
I awoke the next morning to an empty bed. I searched around the room to find Ashley but she was nowhere to be found. It wasn’t until I heard a pan drop in the kitchen and I heard a “shit!” that I stopped looking. I walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen to find Ashley cooking in her skimpy pj’s, bonus points to me for being able to watch her. As I walk up I see her picking up eggs that have fallen out of the skillet when she dropped it. I giggle as I hear her mumbling something underneath her breath, clearly frustrated, and she eyes me as I walk up.
“Everything okay in here?” I ask.
“Ugh. Yes. Damn skillet slipped out of my hands.” Ashley says as she scoops the final clump of eggs from the floor and throws it away in the trash can.
“I can see that. Well let me help.” I go to her refrigerator and get the carton of eggs out. I begin cracking them and scrambling them in a bowl while Ashley cleans out the skillet and places it back on the stove.
“Did you sleep well last night?” She asks.
“Yeah I did.” I respond, smiling. “What about you?”
“I slept magnificently.” She says, returning the smile.
We make breakfast together, nothing crazy just bacon, eggs, and pancakes. We sit down at her table and talk about our different classes, the history class we have together and the test coming up, just pretty boring stuff.
“So what’s the deal with you and Aiden?” She asks me unexpectedly.
“Um… nothing I guess.” I say not looking up from my food.
“Well, are you two together or something? Or did you wise up and take my advice?” I’m taken aback by the arrogance in her voice. I look up to see a playful smile on her face. I give her a more disgusted look then anything. “What?” She asks.
“What do you mean ‘wise up’?”
“I’m just asking if you took my advice or not and staying away from him.”
“I can make my own decisions. I told you I’m being cautious about it. But I would like to know the reason why I’m supposed to stay away from him.”

yay we finally got the lowdown on the aiden situation! ok so it’s not nearly as bad as I expected it to be but it’s still pretty damn shitty. yea no wonder she’s got trust issues. but at least she’s realizing she can confide in spencer. great update, please pms!
Awwww! That was great. I’m glad Ash has let Spencer in and trusts her. So I wonder how long it’s going to take for Spencer to realise her feelings aren’t platonic?!? You rock..big time!
