For the next few days Ashley and Spencer spent time together when they could. They went to the movies the night after the bar, and a few days after that Spencer even went to see Ashley’s band practice. They were both still trying to take things slow and get to know each other, although it was becoming more and more difficult everyday, because every minute the two spent together they liked each other more. After the band practice Ashley toke Spencer out for coffee.

Spencer: “I can’t wait to go to one of your shows; even at practice you are amazing.”

Spencer said remembering how when Ashley sang her voice radiated through the room and through Spencer.

Ashley: “Thanks.” Ashley said with a wide smile. “I have actually been meaning to ask you something, see we have a show in Boston next week, and after that we were going to take a little vacation in a ski town in Maine called Sugarloaf, it’s this really beautiful place and my neighbor is going to watch Roxi so..”

Spencer: “Ash, you are rambling a bit.” Spencer said with a cute smile, taking a sip of her coffee.

Ashley: “Oh, yeah sorry. I was just wondering if maybe you would want to come with us to the show and then stay at the cabin after, since you don’t have school for a while?” Ashley said still a little nervous. She knew Spencer liked her and everything but she was unsure if the blonde would want to spend that much time with her.

Spencer: “Ash, I would love too!” Spencer said excitedly. “I can’t wait to see you play, and I love to ski, it will be so much fun!” Spencer said still very excited, as she got up and gave Ashley a hug.

Spencer’s excitement surprised and delighted Ashley, who was now smiling widely causing her nose to crinkle. She hugged Spencer back breathing the sent of the blonde as she did.

Ashley: “I’m so happy you want to come, we leave on Thursday, I hope that’s ok.”

Spencer: “Yeah, that’s totally fine, and of course I would want to come. What is there not to want I get to see you do what you love and then spend time with you in a cabin.” Spencer said with a suggestive smile. “I’m really not seeing any downsides here.” Spencer said giving Ashley a quick kiss on the lips.
