"Yeah, that’d be cool.," he replied. So they went to Burger King to eat while Aiden kept making Dane Cook jokes.

"I’m so glad we’re here at the BK Lounge as I like to call it…"

They all laughed. Ashley, once again, couldn’t take her eyes off Spencer. It’s almost as if she could see eternity in her amazing blue eyes. And when they got up to head back to school, Spencer grabbed Ashley and gave her a big long hug. Ashley wanted to get lost in Spencer’s arms forever. The brunette kind of leaned into the blond a little and she kind of leaned into her too. Suddenly, Ashley felt bold enough to pull her into a tighter hug and sort of dig her face into her neck. Spencer giggled and this made Ashley smile. They both suddenly realized how inappropriately long their intimate hug had been and that Aiden was just standing there staring at them gawking.

"Woah. Do. That. AGAIN."

Ashley quickly punched him hard in the arm.

"Come on ass. Let’s head back to school." While they walked out the door, Spencer grabbed a hold of Ashley’s hand. Ashley’s eyes went wide open. But she tried to act as casual as possible. As if it didn’t make her heart skip a beat. Once again, she caught herself and thought again how she hardly knew the girl and how it was still too early to make assumptions that she was gay. "I really, really, hope she is…," she prayed to a God who hardly listened to a certain girl named Ashley Davies.

School suddenly didn’t seem so bad anymore. How wonderful life was now that Spencer was in the world….she could hardly wipe the smile off her face the entire day and Aiden could tell.

"So I see Spencer has made quite an impression on you.," he said to her after school.

"Yeah….I guess…," was all Ashley could say. She didn’t want Aiden to know she was crushing on Spencer even though it was already obvious to him. He might be a guy but he wasn’t completely stupid.

"Oh come on Ash! I can see it in your eyes! You want her BAD. Don’t even try to lie to me. I know you like the back off my hand."

"The clean one or the one you use to masturbate with? Cuz that one is a bit murky.," she replied not even looking at him.

"Oh good one. Good one. I’ll give that one an 8 but you’ve done better."

"I’ll work on it."

"Look, just tell her how you feel, maybe she might feel the same way."

"Hell NO!," she yelled with eyes wide open. "Aiden, I’ve only known her for a day. How could she already be ‘madly in love with me’?!," she asked. "Besides, I’m sure with the way she looks, she’s so taken."

"You don’t know that for SURE. Look, maybe she IS different in the way that you think but you’ll never know until you try."

"Maybe you’re right. Ok, fine. I’ll tell her. But if she refuses, it’s on your ass." and with that, Ashley walked off to go find Spencer.

"Umm hey Spence," Ashley said shyly. "I was thinking maybe we can talk?"

Spencer just looked at her curiously. "Okay…..what’s up?"

"Umm…would you…"

"Yesss??"

"Umm, do you wanna….come over to my house and watch a movie?" I did not say that…., she thought to herself. Way to play it cool….

"Yeah! Sure!," she replied. She went over and gave Ashley a kiss on the cheek. ‘You’re so adorable." she said with a smile.

"Yeah well….I try.," she said smiling. "Oh how I want to kiss her…," she thought.

Spencer’s mouth dropped with the site of the brunette’s mansion. She’d never seen anything so luxurious in her life, well, maybe on TV.

"Wow. I’ve never seen any houses like these back home."

"Yeah. Well…..you’re not in Kansas anymore."

"Ohio."

"Kuzentight"

"What?"

"I’m just kidding. I know where Ohio is. Duh.," she said smiling. She couldn’t wait anymore. She had to ask her. NOW.

"Umm…Spence?," she started.

"Yeah?"

"Are you…gay? Or bi?"

Spencer just stared at her for what seemed like forever.

"No."

Ashley’s heart sank.

"Oh." was all she could muster out.
