    Spencer and Ashley take Ty home and deal with Paula.

    When Ashley got out in the hall she could already hear the heated whispers.

    "Mom shh please." Spencer was trying to keep her mother quiet.

    "I don’t care who does that women think she is coming here after what she did to you?" Paula was still whispering but she might as well have been yelling, everyone around could hear her. And right as she said it Ashley came into view and she sent a look that would have killed Ashley on the spot if she could.

    Spencer and Ashley made eye contact and even though they both had sad smiles and were still both feeling the stress just that one glance calmed both of their nerves some.

    Ashley stepped towards them. "Look I am sorry for yesterday I was totally out of line but I want to be Spencer’s friend and be here for you all." Ashley tried to take the heat off Spencer but she knew she was failing miserably.

    Paula moved into Ashley’s face and in a calm voice, just whispered. “Leave” It was so calm it was scary.

    Spencer knew it was her turn Ashley came with her to face whatever she had to in order to support Spencer now it was Spencer’s turn to support Ashley. She moved right next to Ashley in front of her mom and slid her hand into Ashley’s. It took Ashley so off guard she jumped back and starred right at their hands and then up into Spencer’s face who only had an amused smile watching her girlfriends reaction.

    “Mom I don’t want her to leave.” Spencer kept her mother’s line of sight and the shocked look on Paula’s face was priceless.

    “I…?” Paula looked so confused and by now she noticed that Spencer was holding Ashley’s hand.

    “I…I love her.” Spencer just blurted out Ashley and Paula stared wide eyed at this announcement.

    “YOU WHAT?” Paula didn’t yell but she spat it out full of venom.

    Spencer turned and looked at Ashley, “I love her.” She knew she was telling Ashley as much as her mom and Ashley knew it too.

    “I love her too, and yesterday I didn’t force her to do anything she was all on her own with that.” Ashley was happy to clear her name now that Spencer didn’t care. Spencer felt like her whole body was on pins and needles.
