    “I’m more than happy being your dirty little secret”

                “Your secret is safe with me,” he said as he pretended to zip his lips shut and throw away the key. I smiled and him, thankful that I was so lucky to have such a great friend who I could confide in and trust completely.

     

     

                After a few weeks of mine and Spencer’s secret relationship or whatever it was we were doing, Aiden, Angela, Spencer and I were sitting in Spencer and Angela’s apartment watching TV.

                “Hey, where were you last night?” Angela asked Spencer. Maybe it was unfair that she was the odd man out. I mean, I told Aiden, but Spencer wasn’t ready to tell Angela yet. Spencer and I shared a look and I could tell she was nervous.

                “Ummm, the library, I pulled an all-nighter.”

                “You’ve been doing a lot of those lately, hard class this semester?” she asked, clearly prying for more information.

                “Uhhh, yeah, I have this psych class that’s killing me slowly,” she answered.

                “Weird,” Angela said. “Because when you didn’t answer your phone last night, I went looking for you at the library.”

                “You did?” Spencer asked unconfident.

                “Yeah, but I couldn’t find you there, I checked the whole place.”

                “Uhh, you must have missed me, I was in the corner on the 3rd floor, trying to seclude myself,” she replied. I could feel her shaking as she sat next to me. I wanted to save her but I didn’t know how.

                “Yeah, that must have been it, I couldn’t find you,” Angela replied, not seeming satisfied. “Or, you’re sleeping with someone and you’re not telling me.” Oh shit, I just spit out my drink all over the place.

                “Sorry,” I said softly. “Just took me off guard, I doubt she’s sleeping with anyone. We’d definitely know about it.”

                “Yeah Ang,” Spencer replied desperately trying to salvage the situation. “I would tell you if I was sleeping with someone.

                “Spencer, you are the worst liar, now tell me who it is.”

                “Honestly, I –“  but before she could finish, Aiden cut her off.

                “Plus I saw her in the library.” We all turned to him, shocked. Especially Spencer and I. Thank God he’s my best friend.

    2. Great chapter…although if Spencer was upset not to celebrate Valentines day why didn’t she do something for Ashley….hmmm?!? Very romantic tho’, she really needs to come out to Angela tho!

    4. great update! so romantic and lovey dovey, yea I love that stuff. I’m just hoping that nothing bad happens to out spencer… the sooner she tells angela the better. at least then they can be a little more open even if it’s only around aiden and angela. dunno man I sense a storm brewing. but I hope I’m wrong! hope that your anger has subsided a bit, although it was great getting so much of this story at once lol. awesome job, pms!

    5. my fav part was “with my handS around her waist, hers around my shoulder, and our OTHER hands intertwined…” they have 2 pairs of hands or what!?! lol…. but the update was great! keep on posting!
