The One Who Changed My World – (Chapter: 9)

“Ash,” she murmurs with her eyes still shut. “I want to know you.”

“What?” I ask, tilting my head in pure confusion. “Babe, you do know me.”

“I want to really you know you though,” she mumbles out. “All of you.”

“You know I’d tell you anything Spencer,” I answer honestly as I continue to brush through her hair. “All you have to do is ask.” I look at her and I can tell she’s asleep now; my very own sleeping beauty. I didn’t bother to get up and change out of my dress. I didn’t want to move from this spot as I laid my head down on her shoulder. I could have stayed there forever.

The next morning I woke up smiling groggily, to Spencer stroking my hair. I opened my eyes and she was laying next to me, propped up on her elbows watching me sleep.

                “Hey,” I said mid-yawn.

“Morning sleepy-head, didn’t mean to wake you,” she replied as she brought her hand down to my face.

“It’s okay. You’re not hung over?” I asked curiously.

“Nope, had some water and I’m good to go,” she said proudly. “Should I be hung over? I wasn’t that bad was I?”

“Uhhhh, no, not really. You remember everything right?”

“Well I remember our trip to the bathroom of course,” she said seductively, smiling down at me. “But we just went home pretty much right after that, right?” I sat up abruptly, staring at her in disbelief. “Oh God, we didn’t go right home did we?” she asks worried as realization sinks in.

“No Spencer, we didn’t. You had like a billion shots and insisted on telling everyone at the club that lesbian sex is much more satisfying than hetero-sex.”

“Oh God,” she sighs out as she buries her head in a pillow.

“Not that it’s not true,” I reassure her. “But you usually tend to use more discretion with sex.” She still hasn’t moved her head from her pillow and I take that as a sign that she’s embarrassed. “It’s not that big of a deal, sweetie. Everyone there was drunk; I bet hardly anyone remembers.”

“You’re just saying that,” she lifts her head a little bit.
