    4 years later…

    Spencer’s tears fell freely as she drove home.  She cried that night.  Spencer had no one now.  The one person she trusted the most in her life turned her back on her.  She wished she hadn’t gone to that party, she wished she hadn’t seen Ashley, and most of all she wished she hadn’t been born.

    “Graduation is soon! Can you believe it, Spence?  We’re finally going to get out of this hell hole!”  Spencer felt as if that statement had been said before.  She immediately thought about that night four years ago.  About Ashley, what she had been doing these last four years while she was in France. 

     

    “Helloooo Spencer?”  Amanda waved her hand in front of Spencer’s face knocking her out of her thoughts.

     

    “Sorry, you just said something that reminded me of…something.”  Spencer laughed and her friend chuckled.

     

    “You’re so weird.”  Amanda told her.

     

    “At least I’m not as weird as I used to be.”  Spencer gave her friend a silly smile and the girl chuckled.

     

    After the night of the party Spencer decided to leave for France earlier than expected.  Ashley had tried to call Spencer, she even tried to go see the girl but Spencer wouldn’t have any of it.  Ashley had hurt her more than anyone in her life had and she just needed a fresh start.  She knew that going to France would hold so many more opportunities and experiences for her, so she decided to leave early.  She never said goodbye to Ashley and sometimes she wondered if things would have been different if she did.

     

    Spencer grew up quite considerably while schooling abroad.  Living in France had brought Spencer out of her shell.  She was more confident with herself and it showed.  She was beautiful, funny and well respected.  She was always the life of the party (and the after party if you catch my drift ;) ).

     

    “Spence, why do you have to go back to LA?  Why can’t you just stay in France?”  Amanda gave her friend a pout.  Amanda and Spencer had been good friends for three years now.  They met in school and Amanda and Spencer hit it off at the start.

    3. Ok, so I just caught up on this story and I REALLY like it. I agree with dawniekey, you can tell Spence isn’t over it, and neither is Ashley. I can’t wait till they talk. I hope you update 3 times in a row like you did today, LOL. This story is great, PMASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I would have though Ashley would have had more emotion about the subject of Spencer than what she did, its to bad shes probably going to get turned down…a lot, because she was a dip-shit. Great post, though looking forward to the next great one.
