    She grabbed my arm leading me away. I looked over to Ashley, mouthing Help Me!!

    "You go on ahead, baby. I’m going to get us something to drink." She grinned.

    I shot her a look that could kill before replying " But your driving, hon."

    " Oh, just getting some water, sweety. I’ll meet you there." She said glumly waiving at me. I gave her one last dirty look, before Carol pulled me through the crowd. Great!!! I whispered to myself. Freakin perfect.

    Ashley’s POV

    What’ve I gotten myself into. I say to myself before ordering two waters from the bar. Grabbing the two bottles, I take a few deep breaths to calm myself, before turing around.

    " Oh, excuse me." I say, as I bump the girl behind me.

    " No problem…..Ashley right." I look up, stunned to find Katie standing there.

    " Sit a while, and talk with me." She asked gesturing to an empty table. I looked at her suspiciously. " I won’t bite, I promise."

    We walked over and sat down. I placed the bottles on the table in front of me, not knowing what to say.

    " So where’s Ty?" I asked, needing to break the silence.

    "She’s on the dancefloor."

    " Shouldn’t you be dancing with her?"

    "I’d dance with her all night if I could keep up." She replied " But the girl’s a dancing machine."

    We laughed, and chatted a while. And, although she wasn’t my favorite person in the world, I realized what Spencer saw in her.

    " So how long has it been." She asked

    "How long has what been?" I replied confused.

    " You and Spencer?"

    "Oh….." I cleared my throat, takng a sip of water. "Ummmm…… not too long."

    "You two happy?" She asks. I look at her, unsure of where this conversation is heading.

    " Why? What’s it to you."

    "Because…..she wasn’t with me." She replies dropping her gaze, before taking a swig of her beer.

    " What the hell are you talking about?" I ask confused. I can hear the tone of my voice sharpen." You weren’t the one who got her heart broken."

    4. Ooooo, I really just LOOOOVE this fic, its so well written and interesting. It has a different spin. At first, I didn’t want Ash to talk to Katie, but now I’m glad she did. Its time for both of them to face reality and how they really feel; stop hiding. Everybody else can see that Ashley and Spencer belong together. They need to just tell the truth and Ashley needs to get rid of that fiance. Update soon.
