The Three of Us – (Chapter: 11 The End of the Line)

Spencer was sitting on Jodie’s bed crying. She could not believe that Jodie left, but she guessed she would have to if her girlfriend punched her. Ashley sat down beside her and put her arm around her, Spencer pulled away from Ashley and said, “I can’t believe you hit Jodie, she was trying to tell me what was wrong, and you ruined it”.

“Baby I’m sorry I didn’t know who she was and didn’t care because you were crying” Ashley said in her defense.

Spencer got up and went in the living room to talk to Jodie, but she was gone. Spencer went out the door and ran downstairs. Ashley followed saying, “Spencer wait it is too late, she will be back her stuff is still here”.

“I don’t care, I want to talk to her Ashley I have to make her come back, I do love her, you know that” Spencer said in a rough tone.

It was raining really hard and Spencer was running trying to find Jodie. Ashley was behind her calling for her to stop and go back home. Spencer would not stop until she found Jodie. She hailed a taxi, she thought of where she would be. Ashley came right behind and got a taxi then they followed Spencer.

The taxi pulled up to the place where Spencer first met Jodie, where Jodie saved her, the bus station. She paid the fare and ran in the door; in the back sitting alone was Jodie. Jodie looked out of place with her fancy suit that she wore to her interviews.

Jodie’s eyes were closed until she breathed in a familiar scent and opened her eyes and it was Spencer. She was standing there drenched from the storm, her hair was a complete mess but yet she was the most gorgeous woman she knew. Spencer actually came after me, Jodie thought to herself.

“Why did you leave?” Spencer asked after catching her breath.

“Spencer I just don’t think……” Jodie was interrupted by Ashley running up behind Spencer. “Damn you sure are in great shape baby, you ran faster than me” Ashley said trying to catch her breath.

Spencer glared at Ashley, and she knew her lover was beyond upset with her. Ashley just smiled and just stood beside her.
