To Spashley With Love – (Chapter: Chapter Thirty-Eight)
Ashley parked her Porsche in the parking lot of her apartment building. “I am so glad you went after me,” I began with a smile.
“True love is worth fighting for, baby,” responded Ashley returning the smile. Ashley leaned in and kissed me sweetly on the lips. I intensified the kiss. Ashley stopped the kiss.
“So tell me the truth,” I said. How bad do I look?
“You don’t look bad at all,” replied Ashley. Sure, you may have some cuts on your face, but you still are as beautiful as ever, Spence. We left the Porsche and held hands.
Ashley and I entered her apartment. “We’re back,” Ashley stated.
“So you did catch up with Glen,” observed Aiden.
“She sure did,” I responded.
“What happened to your face, Spencer?” asked Kyla with curiosity.
“I got out of Glen’s car while he was still driving,” I answered simply.
“Yikes,” said Kyla. Good thing that my sister was nearby.
“By the way thanks for telling Ashley the GPS coordinates,” I stated.
“Your welcome,” responded Kyla. I told you that putting the GPS on the cell phones was for a valid reason as well as a good idea, Ash.
“You sure did and I’m thankful that you did, Ky,” Ashley stated. With that said, let’s go get your cuts cleaned up, Spence.
“Alright,” I said. We went to the bathroom and Ashley got some things out of the medicine cabinet.
“I gotta warn that you that this shit stings like hell,” began Ashley with a sigh. Ashley was beginning to clean up the cuts on my face. I flinched.
“Sorry,” I sighed.
“It’s alright,” responded Ashley. Ashley continued to clean up my cuts.
“Thank you for everything you did for me today,” I said.
“No problem,” replied Ashley. Well, it looks like I’m all done, baby. Ashley began to put bandages over my cuts. I looked at my reflection in the bathroom mirror and Ashley put her chin on my shoulder.
“I could audition for the role of Jason from Friday the Thirteenth,” I joked.
“No, you couldn’t,” responded Ashley with a smile. You don’t need to wear a mask to cover your face.
“Do you think I’m anything like Glen?” I questioned with a sigh.
“No, you’re not,” responded Ashley. Sweetie, where is all of this coming from?
