To Spashley With Love – (Chapter: Chapter Twenty-Seven)

I was making up the homework that I missed while I wasn’t in school. “Someone needs a break,” Ashley observed as she handed me a cup of chocolate milk. Ashley sat next to me and took a sip of her chocolate milk.

“Thanks,” I responded after I took a sip.

“No problem, but babe, you don’t have to do all the homework in one night,” pointed out Ashley. You have the whole weekend to work on it. I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed.

“I know,” I stated. I just want to get the homework over with, that’s all.

“Alright, but don’t work too hard though,” said Ashley with a smile.

Awhile later, I was falling asleep on the sofa while I was doing my history homework. Ashley put a blanket over me and kissed my forehead. “Sweet dreams, love,” Ashley stated.

“I need to get my work done, babe,” I said groggily.

“You’re tired, too,” replied Ashley sweetly. A nap can help you feel refreshed. If it makes you feel better, I’ll wake you up at a certain time.

“Thanks,” I smiled. You really are perfect, Ash.

“So are you,” responded Ashley. I closed my eyes. It was one of those things when you were half asleep, but you were aware of what was going on around you.

“What’s going on with Spencer?” Kyla questioned appearing. She looks really sickly, Ash. Is she an anorexic?

“It’s my fault that she’s suffering, Ky,” sighed Ashley as she stroked my hair. I thought breaking up with her was the best thing for her since she deserves better, but she has to make up a couple of weeks of schoolwork and is trying to gain weight that she lost since she starved herself. I am trying to get her to eat again, even though Spencer has a sensitive self-body image right now. I tell her that she’s beautiful and I could never see any flaws in her, but I have a feeling that she doesn’t believe me. I j-just don’t know what else to do. What is the right thing to in this situation?

“Relationships are hard, Ash,” Kyla stated. There are good times and bad times you are going to have to go through with the person. You are doing the right thing for being there for Spencer so she doesn’t have to face her problems alone. Spencer will make up her schoolwork and she’ll get back to her normal weight soon.
