‘What up, Kid. How’s the leg?’

‘A bitch…and apparently so is Spencer.’

‘Whoa whoa whoa, Spencer a bitch? Isn’t that kinda harsh.’

‘Not as harsh as she was when I talked to her.’ I mumbled.

‘Do tell.’ 

‘She was just didn’t want to talk to me.’

‘What is up with her? Girl is PMSing I swear.’ He joked.

‘Shut up. Can I come over? I don’t want to go back home.’

‘Sure thing, pal. Come right on over.’ He said happily.

‘Meet you in 10.’

‘Hayden OUT.’

After a 10 minute drive I ended up in the driveway of Mr. Hayden. He was waiting outside bundled up in a sweater and sweats.

‘Hey…’

‘Come here.’ He said with his arms open. I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his skinny body. 

‘Mmm…I miss your hugs.’ I mumbled into his shirt.

‘Yeah…so do i. Come on let’s go into the house its cold.’

‘You dork.’ I said letting go of him and punching me in the arm.

‘Ahh.’ He scoffed and punched me back.

‘Do not hit a girl! It’s rude.’

‘*gasp* Ms. Davies. I am not rude if I would do this to you.’ He said as he opened up the door for me and let me go in first.

‘Why Mr. Hayden Thompson, you shouldn’t have.’ I said acting surprised.

‘Yes I know. I have my moments.’

‘Yeah you do.’ I tippy-toed and kissed him on the cheeks.

‘What was that for?’ He said rubbing his cheek.

‘For old times sake.’

I woke up with my ear phones blasting loud rock music. I moved under a blanket I was covered with and glanced at the clock. 12:41 A.M. Hmm…too late to do anything to early to do anything. Hmph. I looked at my cell phone. No messages. Ashley…I  need to call her. I dialed her number and waited.

Answer the phone damn it.

‘Hello!’ Ashley yelled.

‘Ashley…’

‘Spppeennncerrrr…’ She screamed. I heard faint noises in the background.

I told you not to answer that. Ashley hang up the phone!

‘Spencer….’ She cried.

‘Ashley. Oh my god…where are you…’

‘Hayden…please…please stop.’ She screamed.

Ashley…oh my god! I rushed out of the room grabbed my car keys and headed out of the house. Hayden? Where does he leave…I searched around my car. I found a small object in the passenger seat. Hayden’s wallet…I reached over and found his driver’s license. I glanced at his address and stomped on the accelerator. Ashley…please…be safe.
