Chapter 4 – From Pain to Love
Pre – Ashley moved towards Spencer, stopping in her tracks to the sound of screeching tires…
Ashley’s head whipped around to find the source of the noise turning around just in time to see Aiden coming at her with his fists clenched; he lunged at Ashley full force but missed as Ashley stepped back out of his range Ashley managed to avoid the attack but Spencer wasn’t so lucky the sound of the contact was sickening Ashley ran to Spencer only to be targeted once again by Aiden his fist was drawing nearer and nearer Ashley shut her eyes tight ready to brace herself against the oncoming pain.
There was a hard thud but Ashley felt nothing ‘Am I dead’ she thought to herself she slowly opened her eyes to see Ice Peaches the schools number 1 quarter back pounding on Aiden it wasn’t a pleasant sight but Ashley was thankful none the less “Ash” Ashley barely heard Spencer’s low calling Ashley ran to her aid “oh Spence im so sorry I never meant for the to happen come on lets get you out of here” Ashley helped Spencer to her feet Ashley’s eyes fell once again on the two jocks, Aiden didn’t stand a chance against Ice, Aiden got quite a beating before giving up, Ashley held Spencer up “Spence im going to take you to my house ok so we can get you cleaned up” Spencer nodded, Ice pulled Aiden up by his jersey and slammed Aiden against his truck Aidens once handsome face was barely recognizable under all the blood “you better get your twisted ass out of here right now Dennison and if you go near Ashley or Ashley’s friend again I’ll put your face through the floor got it oh and your of the team because my team mates don’t hit girls” Aiden hung his head lower than before “now get out of here” Aiden crawled into his truck without another word and drove away.
Ice turned to Ashley “hey Ash is your friend ok?” “Yeah she will be fine can you help me get her into the car?” “Yeah sure Ash” Ice picked Spencer up like it was nothing but he was so gentle he carefully placed Spencer into Ashley Porsche “thanks Ice you really saved my ass today” Ashley played a small smile to Ice “no probs Ash you know I’ve always had a soft spot for you” “Ice I’m still gay that hasn’t changed” Ice smiled “yeah I know but you can’t blame a guy for trying, so is she your girlfriend?” Ashley smirked “hmm not yet but who can resist me ha nah I’m just kidding Spencer’s my best friend you know” Ashley walked round to the drivers side of her Porsche “soo Spencer’s straight?” Ice looked hopeful at a sleeping Spencer this did not go un-noticed by Ashley her brows furrowed “I’ll have to get back to you on that one and thanks again I owe you big time” Ashley jumped into her car and was on her way to her house with Spencer.
