“So what, I still missed you.”

“How sweet, now turn around and pay attention before I cause you bodily harm.”

“Haha, now that’s funny, but not exactly believable Spence, you have to come up with better threatening methods.”

“Oh really? Ok, then how’s no “after school tutoring”

“Jeez Spence! I didn’t tell you to go that far. You win….for now.”

“Thank you AshyPoo”

“What the fuck Spence”

“Ashley everything ok back there?” Said Ms. McWhite

“Umm yea….just peachy.”

For the rest of the class they both kept pretty quite, just sitting there taking notes and sneaking looks at each other. Until Spencer raised her hand to use the bathroom. She got up and turned so she looked at Ash before she left and winked.

Ash’s head popped up, when she realized what was going on. Then she allowed two minutes or so to go by, and then asked if she could go get a drink of water.  As she walked out into the hallway she could feel Zuri staring her down like a hawk.

She’d better not do what I think she’s going do.

If I go down the hall then I’m sure Zuri is going to be pissed…but come on! Ok Ash stop being a pussy, and go after it!

She began walking down the hall when she heard Ms. McWhite’s voice from the classroom doorway.

“Ashley, you planning on meeting up with a certain anybody in the restroom by any chance??”

“Uhh, course not! I was just counting the paces from your door to the end of the hallway.”

“Yea…sure”

Ashley walked back to the class and sat in her seat, and two minutes later a rather disappointed Spencer Carlin walked in and took her seat next to Ash.

“Sorry…I got busted.”

“What? Haha you so don’t have a career in espionage, but it’s ok I forgive you.”

*The bell rings for the end of class and Ms. McWhite yells at the class that to not forget their papers next week!”

Ashley and Spencer make their way out of class, and walk together to meet Aiden for lunch, but on the while walking side by side Spencer gained an astonishing amount of courage and grabbed Ash’s hand and intertwined their fingers.  This startled Ash a bit so she stopped in her tracks and gave Spencer a “are you sure about this” look, and Spence simply smiled and pulled her in response to keep walking.  Ash had the cheesiest grin on her face…she loved Spencer, and no one could tell either of them different.
