Thankfully, traffic was light and she made it to the restaurant with time to spare.  The restaurant was amazing, she walked into the busy restaurant. It was busy yet the air still gave off a relaxing presence. The walls were a deep red and it was lit low and sensually. Eccentric, funky paintings decorated them.  The Couples sat in booths and at warm rich wooden tables and chairs.  She smiled and walked to the hostess stand. “Davis, three.”, the hostess smiled flirtatiously  as she picked up three menus and motioned for Ashley to follow her. They walked across the room to a table, “If there is anything else you need my name is Amber and be right over there.”, the hostess said when a wink while leaning over impossibly close to Ashley, making sure her chest was directly in Ashley’s eye-line. The brunette nodded her thanks and when the hostess walked away she shook her hand glancing at the menu. Looking over at the watch on her wrist she noticed it to be seven twenty. When she looked up she saw Roland and a tall blonde walking towards her. She stood from the table, “Nice to see you again, Veronica.”, Ashley said with a cocky grin. The blonde smiled blushing lightly, “Ashley..” They two joined Ashley sitting at the table. “I can’t believe we are here. I’ve wanted to eat here since it opened but, it they said it was booked seven months in advance.”, the blonde said looking over the menu. Roland looked over at Ashley throwing a wink her way. Ashley ordered a bottle of expensive red wine that awed the naïve younger blonde. When the waiter brought the wine to the table, the business talk started. Roland removed a small stack of papers from the briefcase he had brought with him and handed them to Ashley. “So as you see here, we are offering you many royalties as well as a hefty signing bonus. You will own all the songs you write completely or if you need a writer we can set you up with one of our brilliant writers. We will make you a star, you will be loved by millions. Girls will want to be you, guys will want to be with you.”, Ashley, said with a wink. “ Like oh my God this all sounds like too good to be true. I’ll have to talk to daddy but, as far as I know this is like done, you know.”, Veronica exclaimed as waiter came back to the table. “Fantastic, enough of this boring talk let’s order.”, Roland said trying to hide his excitement.
