After Prom

It’s been three months since the shooting. 2 months since the last time Spencer talked to Ashley. If you can actually call it talking. The day after the shooting, Ashley disappeared. This is the time when spencer really needed her girlfriend. But she wasn’t to be found anywhere. Spencer lost her brother clay that night. She needed for someone to tell her that it’s going to be ok. And the person she was hoping for to do it abandoned her. For a month she tried calling Ashley, e-mail her, visit her at her house, but nothing. She asked Kyla where she was but kyla didn’t know where she was either. She even asked someone who she doesn’t really want to talk to. She asked aiden. It was hard for her because she hated Aiden. But she swallowed her pride and asked him.

Spencer went to Aiden’s house and rang the door bell. Aiden opened it and was surprised to see spencer.

Aiden: Spencer, what are you doing here? I mean its great to see you. How you been?
Spencer: Hey Aiden. How you been? How’s your wound.
Aiden: I’ve been good, I still have the scar, and it still hurts a little bit but its getting bet-
Spencer [cutting Aiden off]:Um that’s great Aiden. Listen, I was wondering if you’ve seen or talked to Ashley lately.
Aiden: Oh yea, you actually just missed her. She went her this morning. Today is the first time I’ve seen her since you know, the prom.
Spencer: oh okay, you haven’t talked to her then but today.
Aiden : Yeah.
Spencer: Um, I actually forgot that I left the iron running so I’m going to head out and take care of it. It was nice talking to you. Take care of yourself.
Aiden: Oh um yeah, thanks spencer. It was nice seeing you too. Don’t be a stranger now.

Since spencer’s dad bought her a car, she can drive anywhere now with out asking anyone for a ride. After leaving Aiden’s house, she decided to go to the beach to clear her thought. See she didn’t really forget the iron on. She doesn’t even iron her clothes. She just needed to get out of there cuz seeing Aiden made her stomach sick.
At the beach,

She was the only one at the beach since it was late and dark already.
**Spencer’s thoughts**
Well Aiden haven’t seen Ashley for a month now so that means she didn’t run back to him and choose him. I wonder where she’s been this past month. I’m still mad at the fact that she went and saw him and not me. I mean I’m her girlfriend. At least that’s what I think. I don’t even know what we are anymore. I mean I love her still so very much. But not seeing her for a month is making my feelings for her disappear. What am I saying? Who am I kidding. I do still love her the same as I did before. She just hurted me so much. I wish I can hate her but I cant. Why Ashley? Why are you doing this to me? Don’t you love me anymore? Did I not mean anything to you? WHY ASHLEY?

Her head was hurting so much and she didn’t even realized that she screamed the words real loud.

Spencer [screaming]: WHY ASHLEY?!

???: Spencer

She got scared cuz she thought no one was there. She turned around and saw…
