"She what?  I told her to stay out of my life and why were you asking about me?"  Spencer gets out and coughs some at the force she used.

"I thought I have made that pretty obvious.  What is it between you?"  Ashley asks changing the line of questioning back to Spencer.

"We just have some history and she…it’s nothing."  Spencer looks down letting the hair fall more into her face.  Don’t reveal too much Spencer.

Ashley finds some courage and leans over to brush some of the hair out of Spencers face.  She actually feels some of the strands on her fingers before her hand is slapped away.

"Don’t touch me, what is with you?  Just stop."  And with that Spencer takes off into the storm.  Ashley shakes off the shock and runs after her.  She pushes herself hard and finally grabs hold of Spencer’s arm turning her towards her.  When is she going to stop running?

"What do I need to do?"  Ashley can’t answer, so she just pulls Spencer to her and presses their lips together.  Wow.  She revels in the feeling of Spencer’s soft lips on her.  She moves her lips some and feels a roughness that shouldn’t be there.  Then she vaguely remembers a small scar on her bottom lip.  All she wants to do is run her tongue across it.  But before she can follow through with that urge Spencer pushes her back.  Spencer is surprised she let the kiss go on for that long.  Ashley stands there with a stupid grin on her face while Spencer looks like she is going to explode.  I should slap her, but I just can’t bring myself to hurt her.  What is it about this girl? 

"That was great."  Ashley says dreamily.

"Make sure to tell your boyfriend that and what the hell are you thinking?"  Spencer says snapping Ashley out of her daze.

"You, you are all I can think about and I think I just figured out why."  Spencer opens her mouth, but finds she has no reply to that.  They are still standing close and the rain coming down around them, but neither know what to say. 

Spencer is the one that finally comes out of the daze they were in, "You’re just a kid, you don’t know what you want.  Just forget about me."

"But I can’t and I’m not a kid.  Granted I am a few years younger than you, but so what?  Just give it a try."  Spencer shakes her head not believing in the tenacity of this girl.

"I have to get home."  Spencer turns to walk away.

"Please just think about it."  Ashley yells to her retreating back knowing that she heard her.
