    It’s time for Ashley’s baby

    “I love watching you two together. You make a great mom.”

    “You really think so?”

    “Milf.”

    “You are definitely a milf yourself.”

    “I look like shit, Ash.”

    “Not at all. You are always the most beautiful person on the planet.”

    “Right now I will not believe that. Nice try though.”

    “I’m entitled to my own opinion… Hold on. Something is happening.”

    “What do you mean?”

    “Why am I wet?”

    “OH MY GOD YOUR WATER BROKE!”

    Spencer was in full panic mode. She didn’t want the pain to cause Ashley to drop little Adrian, but Ashley seemed to be holding out just fine for now.

    “Ash, are you ok?”

    “I feel fine at the moment.”

    One of the nurses that was still in the room left and immediately returned with a wheel chair.

    “How am I going to get out of this bed and come with you? I’m not supposed to be up and moving yet, but I have to take care of you.”

    “Just breath Spencer. Relax. I need you to not do anything to harm yourself.”

    “But I have to be with you when you have our baby. You were here for me. I am your wife.”

    “Like I said. Just breathe. We will think of something.”

    One nurse took baby Adrian into her arms while the other helped Ashley into the chair.

    “Do I have to leave now? I’m fine at the moment, other than the wet clothes.”

    “We need to get you checked in with the doctor immediately. It’s safer for the baby.”

    Ashley couldn’t argue with that. She was willingly pushed out of the room leaving behind her a distraught Spencer.

    “Can’t my wife come with me? This is her baby too.”

    “She needs to stay off her feet. Giving birth is hard work. She will be in a lot of pain the more she moves.”

    Ashley was thinking of some way to talk them into bringing Spencer, but she began to feel an intense pain which cleared her thoughts of everything for the moment.

    Spencer was eventually moved to a regular hospital room. She reached for the table and grabbed the phone and quickly dialed her mother’s cell number.

    “Mom, I need your help.”

    Spencer hung up the phone, which left a very confused Paula looking down at her cell phone. She shook her head and  took off out of the waiting room without saying a word to anyone else. After about 10 minutes she was able to find Spencer’s room.
