“There’s something else…”  She whispered.  She wasn’t sure how Ashley would react to this news.  “Eric’s going to be visiting on Wednesday for a couple of days…”

Ashley visibly frowned as Madison yelled for them to hurry back, diner was nearly ready.  “Whoa wait, you mean ex-boyfriend from Miami Eric?”  Her hand came up as if she was ready to scold her sister.  Kyla simply nodded and gulped.  “How am I supposed to tell Kasey that he’s coming back and…”  Ashley cut her off.  “And what Ky?  Please tell me you’re over the heartbreaking asshole.”

Kyla shrugged her shoulders in shame.  “Hurry up you two, it’s ready!”  Madison yelled once again, frustrating the sisters to no extent.  “My advice, tell her before he gets here.”  Ashley whispered.

Both girl stood silently and slipped out of the tent.  Spencer and Kasey were visibly out of breath and sweaty from their childish activities.  The brunette had obviously been connected with the towel a few times.  Kasey occasionally laughed and rubbed her sore red spots from where she had been struck.

The rest of the day had been spent either fishing in small groups or laying out near the beach in the sun.  The water was too cool for swimming so they made due with what they had.  Kyla remained mostly silent as Ashley never once voiced her disapproval of her sister’s actions since their conversation.  Instead she enjoyed the time she had, spending every waking moment with Spencer.

Sunday morning soon followed as most of the teens woke up chilled to the bone.  It had down poured all night drenching the tent and eventually flooding the area.  Kasey woke up to Kyla’s warm body draped over hers.  The young Davies was being kept from the humidity that crawled up KC’s chilled form from the ground up.  Shivering slightly and yet happy to be protecting her girlfriend from perhaps getting sick, Kasey smiled and wrapped her arms around her tiny frame.

The only two who were not frigid or soak and wet were Ashley and Spencer.  Awaking with a cheerful smile both girls giggled when their four companions woke up grumpy and cold.

“I’m glad you two slept well.”  Aiden grumbled dragging himself out of his tent soon followed by a crazed looking Madison.  Her hair was ruffled and wild, stray hairs poking out from every which way.
