”Are you guys going to the dance this Friday?”  Ashley held an orange flyer in her hands while the group sat in the quad during lunch.  A little over a month had gone by since their camping trip and Halloween was just around the corner, it was this Friday to be exact.  And King High was holding a school dance for its students.

“We’re going, right babe?”  Aiden asked as Madison nodded.  The couple began dating after their trip.

“What about you?”  Ashley looked over at Kasey who shrugged and took a bite from her apple.  “Probably not.”  Spencer frowned at her answer.  “What?! Why not?!”  She interjected.

“I don’t dance.”  She replied simply.  “You mean you can’t dance.  And when she attempts to she dances like Mr. Bean.”  Aiden laughed, only to be smacked by Madison on the arm.

“Come on Kasey, I can’t dance either but I’m still gonna go.”  Spencer tried to reason with the girl.

“No worries Spencer, of course she’s going, it’ll be fun!”  Kyla butted in and playfully shoved the brunette.  It was obvious the two were attracted but like Spencer and Ashley were too stubborn to admit it.  The older Davies sibling wanted to see her sister happy and Kasey did that.  If anyone was going to date her little sister, she would want it to be Kasey.

“Why don’t you two just make it official already?  Go together!”  Ashley huffed while Kasey glared.

“Want to?”  Kyla asked nervously and eagerly awaited her response.  She had been hoping that Kasey would have asked and had voiced her desire to her sister.  Ashley wanted what was best for her and she knew it.  Kasey couldn’t turn her down.  If it wasn’t for Ashley, she probably would have never had the nerve to ask on her own.  “Sure, I mean that is if you want to go with me.”  She replied with a smile while Kyla nodded enthusiastically.

“About damn time. Ohhhh right!  I’ll be right back.”  Ashley remembered.  “Guys, come with me.”  She jumped up and motioned for Kasey and Aiden to follow her out of the quad and to the auditorium leaving the three girls to wonder what they were up to.
