The place is CatCo, the time is just after 11:03 am on a Friday. Cat Grant is seated in a studio across from Jessica Jones. Cameras are on and Jessica is already visibly annoyed at being there. There are three cameras present, one focused on Cat, one on Jessica, and one with an overall focus on both. Cat looks to one of the camera operators.

Cat: Are we rolling?

Upon getting the confirmation, Cat clears her throat and signals with a nod for the countdown. One of the camera operators counts down with his fingers from 3 to 2 then pointing to Cat.

Cat: Good day, I’m Cat Grant for CatCo Media and with me is the guest that everyone has been waiting to talk to. This is an exclusive CatCo interview with Jessica Jones. Jessica, I’m glad you could join us today.

Jessica looks disinterested.

Jessica: Yeah.

Cat: Jessica, I know this must be hard for you as I understand you have had a policy of not granting interviews.

Jessica: Your cute little girlfriend with the glasses made an impression, I guess.

Cat: That was my assistant, Miss Jones.

Jessica: You should give her a raise.

Cat: Okay, Jessica let’s focus on the real reason why we’re here.

Jessica: I’m here, because I feel bad for your assistant. You’re here, because you’re ready to make money off of talking to me in front of the internet.

Cat smirks. She knew going in this could be challenging at first.

Cat: Attitudes notwithstanding, there are people in this community who are grateful for your actions. Do you find that the Greater Los Angeles Area is experiencing a boom vigilante activity being good for the city or bad?

Jessica shrugs.

Jessica: I don’t care. I don’t care about the Green Arrow, I don’t care about the Flash, or this Daredevil guy people keep talking about.

Cat: There does appear to be at least one person in the community that you care about.

Cat holds up a photo from a few nights earlier. It is of Supergirl and Jessica Jones together and the image is a touch blurry.

Cat: The picture is not the highest quality, but what you see here is a photo that was taken of Jessica with Supergirl. According to the eyewitness, Supergirl had touched down from the sky with you in her arms and that things looked, quote, “intimate” momentarily.
