    Alex & Dana…

    Phone call

    Alex: Hello?
    Dana: Al? Its Dane.
    Alex: Hi
    Dana: Hey, I know were going to look at places tomorrow, but I wanted to let you know- I just heard that theres going to be a one bedroom opening up in my building
    Alex: Really?
    Dana: (excitedly) Yeah! Oooh! That would be so cool if you lived here!
    Alex: Do you think I could get in to see it?
    Dana: Im sure you canlet me call the landlord and try to arrange something for you.
    Alex: Ok, and well still go see the others that I already have appts for?
    Dana: Of course! Ill see you tomorrow9am?
    Alex: Great! Thanks Dane!
    Dana: No problem hun. Bye!
    Alex: Bye!

    Scene: Dana is sitting in her Land Rover outside of Marinas place waiting for Alex.

    Inside: Alex is scurrying around trying to get out the door.

    Marina: (quietly) Where are you going?
    Alex: (surprised) Oh, you scared me. I didnt see you there. Im going to look at places

    Marina storms out of the room.

    Outside: Alex hops down the steps and into Danas car. Dana starts driving.

    Dana: Hi hun.
    Alex: (smiles and happy) Hi! Wow. I feel good today.
    Dana: See? You are looking great
    Alex: Thanks. Im trying. (beat) So what time do I see the place near you?
    Dana: Oh, thats 1pm. So I figure we can go see those two you have then maybe grab some lunch? Then then head back to my place?
    Alex: Sounds like a plan

    Alex begins giving Dana directions and the car disappears down the road.

    Scene: Alex, Dana and the Agent are walking out of an apartment.

    Agent: Now is this place going to be for both of you?
    Dana: (interrupting) Oh nonothis is just for her.
    Alex: Yeah, just me.
    Agent: (to Alex) Ok. What do you think?
    Alex: I like it! But I want to sleep on it.
    Agent: Ok, well heres my cardI can hold it until Tuesday.
    Alex: Ok, Ill let you know.

    Agent departs. Dana and Alex are left standing in the hall together.

    Dana: So???
    Alex: I love it, its perfect for me. I just want to think about it.
    Dana: Cool. You wanna stop at my place for a little bit or I can just take you home…its up to you?
    Alex: (thinking) Mmmm.sure, I’ll stop by

    The two depart to Danas apartment…
