The two jumped apart at the sound of Kit’s voice.

Bette nervously said, Hey, Kit.

Kit: “Don’t you hey Kit me little Sis. Tina is in no shape for that kind of activity.”

Bette: “Kit what are you talking about we were just kissing.”

“Well it seems to me that is what got Tina with twins,” Kit jokes to lighten the mood.

Both Bette and Tina laughed.

Kit goes over to hug Tina.

Kit: “How are you doing baby girl.”

Tina: “Very well and the doctor expects to be releasing us in the next couple of days.”

“Good but you make Bette behave at home you know I don’t trust her alone with you, Kit stated and winked at Tina.”

Tina laughed

Bette rolled her eyes and shook her head.

Kit: Now let me see these nieces of mine.

Kit went to the big crib that the two twins shared and covered her mouth when she saw the little girls.

Kit: “Oh my God they are so beautiful just like their mothers. What did you decide to name them?”

“Angelica and Elizabeth Kennard-Porter, Tina stated with pride.”

Kit: “How do you tell them apart, they look so much alike?”

Bette: “Well Angelica’s hair is curlier than Elizabeth’s.”

Tina: “Yea and we already figure out that Elizabeth is more of a drama queen than Angelica, when she wants something.”

Kit: “Wow! So your mothers think that they have you two already figured out but just wait for the teenage years, Kit stated as she picked Angelica up.”

Kit rocked the little girl and showered her with kisses and than did the same with Elizabeth.

Kit: “So Tina have you talked with your folks yet to let them know the news.”

Tina: “Yes and they plan to be here by tomorrow. Mom just could not believe that I had twins.

Kit and Bette said simultaneously, “Neither could I.” They all laughed.

Kit spent another hour loving on her nieces and talking with Bette and Tina. Before Kit left she told the girls that she would come back tomorrow and that the rest of the gang would be up this afternoon. While driving home Kit thought two things. First she thought how much the twins truly looked like Bette and Tina both which puzzled her. Secondly she wandered how Bette and Tina were going to make it six days nevermind six weeks without touching each other intimately. Since Bette and Tina reconciled three years ago the two were hot and heavy none stop. She knew they loved each other dearly but did not necessarily think rationally when it came to their passion for one another. Kit thought this might be like a second virginity for the two lovebirds. “Oh lord help us all, Kit said out loud.” Kit hoped that Tina’s parents being around and the babies would be a good detourant to make them behave.

“We shall see, she thought.”
