“I can’t mum. I want her to have a great experience in New York, it’s what she wants…it’s what I want for her” Tina slides down onto one of the steps of the stairs, her mum followed sitting next to her. “I can’t say goodbye to her…It would be too hard…” a tear ran down her cheek. “Not that I want to make things any harder for you but…she said she…loves you baby”
“We never got a chance to say it to each other” Tina regretted. “I love her too”

Bette walked down the over crowded streets of New York hand in hand with Tina. “I’m so glad you decided to come with me to New York. I don’t know what I would have done without you” Their lips met, the kiss turning more passionate as tongues connected. Tina started to fade, “Don’t go!” She reached out trying to hold on for as long as she could. Bette suddenly woke startled alone in her apartment; Tina hadn’t been in her dreams for a while.

She looked over at the clock on her bedside table; she had 10minutes before she had to get up for work. “Come on Al, please be up” she dialled Alice’s number. “Mhmm?” Alice groaned under the covers. “Sorry to call so early”
“Another Tina dream?” It wasn’t the first time Bette had contacted Alice over the dream. She gave Bette the same advice over and over again as if she has memorised it off by heart.

“Yeah, how did you know?”
“You only call when you have Tina dreams” starting to dove off again.

“We were walking hand in hand…“ Bette was cut off. “And you said ‘I’m so happy you came with me’ but she didn’t” Alice sounded a little angry. “I’m sorry, it’s just really early. Bette we’ve been through this a million times… It’s been 5 years Bette; you never tried contacting her after high school, and I’m sorry to say this but… you whore around to mask the pain of losing her” Bette got out of bed, starting to get peeved at Alice even though she was completely right “and then you tell me how much of an ass I am, I apologise and we forgive each other”
