Chapter 141 Bette looks at Tina again and takes off the lid. “Mom, could you take Noah for a second?” Bette asks. “Sure, honey.” Maxine says and lifts Noah up. “Come to grandma.” She says in baby voice. Inside the box, there is two frames. Bette lift one up and turns it over. She gasps at the sight. “T, when did you did you do this?” She says as a tear find its way. She takes up the other one too. It is two pictures, one of Tina and Noah, black and white photo, Tina holding Noah to her bare chest, both their eyes closed, savoring the moment. The other one is of Tina and Daniel, it’s almost the same pose. But on this, Tina’s eyes are open and smiling down at Daniel who has his eyes closed. Tina smiles at Bette and waits for her reaction. “Babe?” She asks softly. “Yeah, I’m just They are just a few days old, how did when did you get the time to do this?” She asks, still looking down at them. Tina smiles over at Shane. “Well, you remember the other day, you were out buying some presents, you were gone for about two hours. I called Shane over and she helped me out. You like them? I thought you could have them in your office.” Tina says and smiles. “Oh baby, I love them.” Bette replies and then looks up at Tina. She leans in for a kiss, it merges with tears. “I love you. “She whispers between the kisses. Everyone looks at them and smiles. “There’s something else in there too. I know it’s not a car, but it’s something that you wanted.” Tina says and smiles. Bette breaks away and looks into the box again. She picks up a new little box. She put the big box down and then opens up the little one, revealing a watch. It’s Citizen Woman’s watch with a square and lined edge with small diamonds. Bette smiles. She leans in again and kisses Tina. “Thank you baby. It’s beautiful.” She says. Tina smiles and kisses hr back softly. “There is actually one more thing in there too.” Tina says. “One more?” Bette asks as she looks through the box. She finds one more little velvet box in there. She takes it out. She opens it. There is a heart shaped locket. On the front there is engraved ‘We love you’. Tina smiles and looks on. Bette takes the locket out and opens it. More tears are finding its way down her cheek. Inside Tina had put a small picture of the boys on one side and one of herself on the other side.
